국문 초록

현재 동북아시아 지역의 국가간의 물류수송은 일부를 제외하고는 자국의 항만을 중심으로 이루어지고 있다. 이것은 동북아지역의 내륙수송체계가 구축되지 못했고 인접국가와의 상호협력 없이 독자적으로 운영이 가능했기 때문이다. 하지만 지금까지 부득이 하게 해상운송에 의존할 수밖에 없었던 한국, 일본, 중앙아시아지역을 기종점으로 하는 화물을 포함한 동북아시아 지역의 지역간 화물이 동북아 철도네트워크 구축시에는 항만에서 철도로 전환될 것으로 전망하고 있다. 이러한 전망은 부산을 기점으로 한 대륙횡단철도 관련 연구에서 제시되고 있는 이용자의 비용절감, 운송시간단축 등의 효과를 근거로 하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 아시아횡단철도 북부노선의 철도시설 및 운영현황, 노선의 컨테이너 화물운송 수요 및 전망 등을 분석한다. 또한 한반도 통과 철도와의 연계를 고려한 아시아횡단철도 북부노선의 노선대안을 AHP 방법을 통하여 분석하였다.

영문 초록

Present logistics transportation of Northeast Asia mostly comes and goes through the sea-ports of each native country. This is because that the in-land transportation systems in Northeast Asia are not well organized and has operated individually without the help of adjoining countries. However, when Northeast Asian railway network is built up, the inter-region freights which might otherwise only depend on sea transportation as up to the present is expected to be transferred to railways. This prospect is based on papers about the efficiency on the reduction of users’ expense and of transportation time proposed by researchers for the trans-Asia railway. In this paper, the current technical and operational status of Trans Asian Railway Northern Corridor is examined and the container transport demand on the Northern Corridor is projected. Also, the route alternatives of the Northern Corridor are proposed and analyzed based on the connection and interface with Trans Korean Railway by AHP method.
