국문 초록

중소기업은 국가 발전과 경제의 원천으로서 대단히 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 최근 중소기업의 경쟁력은 고비용ㆍ저효율 구조로 약화되고 있는데, 특히 대기업과 비교해 개선의 여지는 매우 크나 실제 크게 개선되지 않은 부분이 유통ㆍ물류(비)라 할 수 있다. 중소기업은 유통ㆍ물류에 대한 투자 여력이 부족하여 유통채널과 물류관리 등을 독립적으로 구축하기 쉽지 않은 실정이다. 중소기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 대책이 필요하며, 대형 유통기업의 진출 확대로 어려움을 겪고 있는 중소 소매업 및 도매업의 경쟁력 강화와 유통ㆍ물류효율성 제고 필요성 증대에 부응할 유통체계의 혁신적인 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 중소기업이 제조한 생활용품(소비재)의 공동구매 및 공동배송시스템을 구축하기 위한 물류센터의 조성이 필요하다. 본 연구는 중소기업의 경쟁력 강화라는 차원에서 중소기업을 위한 물류센터 조성의 필요성과 물류센터 개발 방안, 그리고 물류센터 조성에 대한 경제적 타당성을 분석한다.

영문 초록

Small and medium businesses take an very important position as a foundation of national development and economy. Recently, the competitive power of small and medium-sized businesses have been weakening due to its structure of high costs and low efficiency. Especially, their distribution and logistics have plenty of room to be improved but is not improved actually compared with those of big companies. It is not easy for small and medium-sized businesses to implement distribution channels and logistics management by themselves owing to the lack of investment capability. It is necessary to develop measures to reinforce the competitive edge of small and medium-sized enterprises and do research on an innovative system for their distribution and logistics while they have difficulty competing with big businesses. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a logistics center to implement the system for group purchasing and delivery of consumer products manufactured by small and medium businesses. This study analyzes the necessity of building a logistics center, development of a logistics center and its economic validation.
