영문 초록

Air cargo terminal is a place of key part in the air cargo logistics which make the build-up work to ship the collected air cargo into the airplane and delivering the unloaded cargo after break-down to the cargo owner. It is very difficult to calculate the actual proper handling capacity of the air cargo terminal due to the difference in its criteria referring to the handling capacity. This study found the factors which make influence on the calculation of the air cargo terminal handling capacity and calculated the handling capacity of the A terminal in Incheon International Airport with application of such factors. The result of this research showed that the handling capacity of the air cargo terminal are varied depending on the automation level of the terminal, shape of the cargo, function of the terminal, demand characteristics of the air cargo and the cruising characteristics of the airplane.
