The iconography of a painting of Tirkāya is formed with Vairocana Buddha, Locana Buddha and Sakyamuni Buddha. And this painting is made as a Buddhist Rea Painting in Daejeokgwangjeon or Daegwangmyeongjeon. Painting of Tirkāya, prevalent with a popularity of HwaYen thought, has a name of Vairocana Buddha, Locana Buddha and Sakyamuni Buddha when the Tian-tai Sect start in China. It describes the best Utopia in Buddhism with a perfect organization of Dharma-kāya, Vipakakāya and nirmāna-kāya. In the meaning that the Buddhakāya is same, Tirkāya usually bring Manjusri and Samantadhadra in the each of both side. The painting of Vairocana Buddha, Dharma-kāya is absented that the original form of the Painting of Tirkāya, which is made in 1741, in Dongguk University Museum possession is unknown. But this picture has much significance, because it is the oldest painting in actual Buddhist Rea Painting of Tirkāya for Vairocana Buddha. Also, in this painting, many devotees are expressed, but after this, the trend, they are portrayed, is getting reduced. In case of Locana, he describes a classic form of Locana Buddha. Because raising his are near the shoulder, Locana Buddha takes Vitarka mudra, he wears a luxurious crown and a robe as a figure of Bodhisattva, and there is a concentric circle in his abdomen. In the top of the painting, the scene, which depicts a meeting of Sudhana, Manjusri Bodhisattva, and Maitreya Bodhisattva, reflects a substance of Avatamsaka sutra, the basis of Tirkāya. In case of Sakyamuni Buddha, he influences a painting of Sakyamuni's preaching scene, Janggoksa(temple), which is made in 1748, in Dongguk University Museum possession. Exact enshrinement place is not known on account of a little damage on the painting record. This painting has a connection with a painting of Sakyamuni's preaching scene, Janggoksa(temple), which is made in 1748, in Dongguk University Museum possession that it might be enshrined in Janggoksa or a temple which has an association with Janggoksa though. At the conclusion, the Painting of Tirkāya, which is made in 1741, in Dongguk University Museum possession is constructed with many dependent Guardians in each scene, and each pictures are made up independently. Also an arabsepue of mandārava in the knee of Locana Buddha, hanging down the lower ends of clothes, etcs are the characteristic of the Painting of Tirkāya, which is made in 1741, in Dongguk University Museum possession which has not been shown in the other Buddhist Rea Painting of Tirkāya.
