국문 초록

장애아동 재활치료 서비스 바우처 사업은 국내에 음악치료가 도입된 이례 국가 제도 안에 처음 시행되는 서비스 제도로써 그 중요성이 증대됨에 따라 실질적인 서비스 내용과 그 적절성에 대한 분석이 필요하게 된다. 음악치료 장애아동 재활치료 서비스 제공자 내 음악치료 전공자는 78.3%에 불과했으며, 95.7%는 비정규직 환경에서 근무하고 있었다. 이는 서비스 제공 치료의 질저하 및 낮은 서비스 단가와 연결되어 여러 가지 문제점을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과들은 현재 장애아동 재활치료 서비스 바우처 사업 내 음악치료 현황의 질적 수준 및 음악치료사들의 전문적 역량 및 의견을 알아본 것으로 음악치료사 자격증의 공통 기준 설정 및 인증제도의 필요성과 서비스 제공 근무 환경의 질적 향상을 위한 질적 관리제도의 필요성을 제시하는데 그 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine circumstances and quality of current music therapy services provided to children with disabilities as one of voucher services. This study also investigated how music therapy providers perceive the most desirable environment for music therapy services and what they consider as areas to be improved for better work environment and service provision. Participants in this study included 46 males and females who are currently practicing music therapy in Seoul, Gyeonggi‐do, Incheon, Gyeongsangnam do, Daejun, Daegu, Gangwon do areas. They filled out the questionnaire that included following four categories: (1) the demographic information and professional experiences of respondents, (2) current circumstances of music therapy services as voucher programs, (3) expectations for desirable service environment, and (4) recommendations for better provision of music therapy services. Results showed that 78.3% of respondents completed undergraduate and/or graduate degrees in music therapy, and 89.1% of the respondents had music therapy related credentials. Half of the reported music therapy services were provided at private centers. Among the respondents, 95.7% worked as part‐timers. The fee rates of music therapy service in voucher programs were relatively lower than those of music therapy in non-voucher programs. The needs for clinical supervision and standardized criteria for qualifications and credentials for music therapists were suggested by respondents. It is obvious that qualification and credential standards for music therapy services in voucher programs should be reassessed.
