백제와 송.제.양 교섭기사에 대한 고찰

국문 초록

관련사료의 분석 결과 백제는 송.제.양과의 교류를 통해 요노로 대표되는 신무기를 수입하여 고구려와의 무력충돌에 대비한다거나, 혹은 중국의 선진문물을 국가적 위상 제고에 이용하기도 하고, 중국의 조공책봉제도를 백제 국내 왕권기반과 연관하여 활용하고 있음을 구체적으로 확인하였다. 한편 당시 양의 고구려왕에 대한 책봉호가 백제왕에 비해 낮아진 점은, 당시 중국대륙에서 안정적으로 국세를 자랑하였던 양의 입장에서 북위의 혼란이 상대적으로 고구려의 외교적 이용가치의 감소로 인식되고, 이러한 인식이 고구려왕 책봉호에 영향을 주었던 것으로 이해하였다. 이러한 백제와 송.제.양과의 외교내용을 볼 때, 백제는 송.제.양과의 외교관계를, 당시 당면과제였던 고구려와의 대결에 적극적으로 이용하려한 것으로 생각되지 않는다.

영문 초록

According to the analyzation of the records, Baekjae interacted with Song, Jae, and Yang frequently. Baekjae imported weapons represented as Yo-No and advanced cultural goods. The reason of this interaction is firstly, preparing for war with Goguryeo, secondly, using the advanced goods of China to elevate their country's reputation, and lastly using China's system of Jogong-Chaekbong in domestic politics in Baejae. On the other hand, during that time the title of installation of the king of Goguryeo was lower than that of the king of Baekjae. In opinion of Yang, which had a stable national strength in China, the disorder of the Northern-We caused to be considered the decreasing of Goguryeo's diplomatic value. This led to influence Goguryeo's title of installation. Considering the information of Baekjae and Song, Jae and Yang's diplomatic relationship, it is not convincing that Baekjae enthusiastically tried to use the relationship with Yang, Song, and Jae in their most serious problem at that time, which was confronting Goguryeo.
