국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 섭식 향상 활동 프로그램이 중증장애아동의 구강기능과 생활자립기능에 미치는 효과를 실펴보고자 하였다， 이를 위해 일반가징과 비슷한 제주시 소재 중증장애인생활시설의 중증장애아동 중 장애인복지법상 장애 1급 판정 을 받고 중복장애로 인하여 독립적인 섭식행동과 일상생활이 이려운 중증장애아동 4명을 대상으로 2008년 12월 1일부터 2009년 3윌 21일까지， 매주 3회씩 식사가 이루어지는 생활관에서 점심 또는 저녁시간에 프로그램을 진행하였 다 섭식 향상 활동 프로그램의 효과성을 살펴보고자 사진사후검사를 실시하였고， 자료분석은SPSS WIN 12.0을 사용하여 비모수검정인 Wilcoxon 검정방법을 사용하였다， 본 연구결과는 첫째， 섭식 향상 활동 프로그램 실시 전과 후의 구강기능은 Z값은 -1.841이고， p값 .033으로 사례아동 4명 모두에서 통계적으로 유의미한 변회를 보였다 둘째， 섭식 향상 활동 프로그램 실시 전과 후의 KISE 발달척도-생활자립영역은 Z값이 -1.826이 고， p값이 .034로 아동 모두에서 통계 적으로 유의미한 차이를 보여 섭식 향상 활동 프로그램 이 중중장애아동의 생활자립기능에 긍정적인 변화를 보였다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 섭식 향상 활동 프로그램이 중증장애아동의 구강기놓을 향상시키고 나아가 일상생활에 필요한 적응행동을 향상시키는데 효과적임을 알 수있었다

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the effect of the feeding improvement activity program on the oral functions and living independence of the children with severe disability. To achieve this, 4 children with severe disability who have trouble in daily life and independent feeding activities due to double disabilities, judged as first-grade disability by disabled people's welfare law, were selected among children with severe disability living in J Severe Disabled People's Institute located in Jeju. It was executed one and a half hours every lunchtime or dinnertime in the living center, 3 times a week from December 1, 2008 to March 21, 2009 (16 weeks). To examine the effect of the feeding improvement activity program, oral functions assessment and KISE scale of development-life independence domain were used to execute pre- and post-examination, and non-parametric Wilcoxon test method were used for data analysis. The main results of this study are as follows. First, examining the oral functions assessment before and after executing the feeding improvement activity program, the value of Z is -1.841 and p value is .033, showing statistically significant difference in all 4 children's cases. Second, examining the KISE scale of development-life independence domain before and after executing the feeding improvement activity program, the value of Z is -1.826 and p value is .034, showing statistically significant difference in all 4 children's cases, which indicates that the feeding improvement activity program has a positive effect on eating development of the children with severe disability. In conclusion, the feeding improvement activity program improves the oral functions of the children with severe disability, and moreover promotes adaptative behaviors necessary in daily living, which makes it effective in improving the life quality of disabled children.
