뇌파상 전두부에 극파 혹은 서파를 보이는 사아간질환아에 대한 임상적 고찰

영문 초록

The clinical study of 111 children with seizures showing interictal spike or slow waves on EEG at probable frontal lobe was undertaken. The prevalence was increasing with age and no significant sexual difference was noted. The frontal abnormal electrical discharges were classified into spike or sharp wave in 84 cases(75.7%), 3-4Hz spike and wave in 19 cases(17.1%), slow in 6 cases(5.4%) and 1.5-2.5Hz spike and wave in 2 cases(1.8%). Secondary bilateral synchrony was found in 78 cases(70.3%). Thirty seven children had generalized tonic clonic seizures, 18 had simple partial seizures, 14 had absence seizures, 12 had atonic seizures, 13 had generalizied tonic seizures, 10 had myoclonic seizures, and 7 had complex partial seizures. Among the 14 children with clinical absence seizures 4 had typical 3Hz spike and wave and the rest had other abnormal forms in EEG. Accompanying neurologic disorders were cerebral palsy in 20 cases, mental reatardation in 15 cases and headache in 4 cases. Neuroimaging study was done in 75 children. Computed tomography(CT) and magnetic resonance imaging showed abnormalities in 27 (36%). Compared to the rate of abnormalities of CT in generalized seizure disorder, that was much higher in our patients.
