공급체인 내 공급업체 결속의 선행요인과 결과요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

  결속은 공급체인 구성원 간 거래를 유지하는데 대한 암시적, 명시적 서약이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 결속은 쉽게 변하지 않고, 다른 파트너를 탐색하지 않게 하며, 상호간의 욕구를 더 잘 충족시켜주고, 상호이익을 위해 협력하게 한다. 뿐만 아니라 장기적인 이익을 위해 기꺼이 단기적인 희생을 감수하게 한다.
  때문에 공급체인을 연구하는 많은 학자들은 결속에 대한 연구에 많은 관심을 가져왔다. 하지만 결속에 관한 대부분의 연구가 물류 흐름에 있어서 전방 구성원(물류업체, 유통업체, 최종 소비자 등)을 대상으로 이루어졌고, 후방 구성원(하청업체, 부품 공급업체 등)에 대한 연구는 매우 적다고 할 수 있다.
  본 연구는 이에 대표적인 후방 구성원이라 할 수 있는 부품 공급업체의 결속에 어떠한 요인이 영향을 미치고, 결속이 어떠한 요인에 영향을 미치는 지 규명함으로써, 부품 공급업체의 결속에 관한 포괄적인 연구를 수행하였다. 특히, 본 연구는 결속의 선행변수로 거래 안정성, 공정성, 의사소통, 관계투자를, 결과변수로 유연성, 협력, 수익성 등을 발견하였으며, 이에 관해 실증하였다.
  국내 전자산업의 75개 부품 공급업체를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 구조방정식 모형분석을 통해 분석한 결과 거래안정성, 공정성, 관계투자는 결속을 강화하였고, 결속은 유연성, 협력, 심지어 수익성도 강화하였다. 다만 의사소통은 유의적인 영향을 미치지 못했다.

영문 초록

  Commitment refers to an implicit or explicit pledge of relational continuity between exchange partners, and commitment is a key factor in the long-term relationship. It"s because this commitment includes the intention to bear the short-term sacrifice so as to accomplish the long-term performances. In other words, while the exchange partners with the high level of commitment try to invest on the valuable assets to maintain their relationship, the ones with lower level can be exposed to others" opportunism.
  Recently, both scholars and practitioners have been interested in commitment between supply chain members. However, lots of research dealing with commitment focused on rather forward stream members, such as, physical distributer, wholesaler, retailer, and customer than backward stream members, such as, subcontractor and supplier.
  The objectives of this paper is to test a management strategy-based model of the antecedents and consequences of commitment. As antecedents this paper investigates transaction stability, fairness, communication, and investment in relationship, and as consequences it deals with flexibility, cooperation, and profitability.
  For the purpose of empirical testing, 75 respondents of leading 3 company in Korean electronics industry were surveyed and the analysis utilizing structural equation model indicated that transaction stability, fairness, and investment in relationship had positive effects on supplier"s commitment, and commitment had positive effects on flexibility, cooperation, and profitability of supplier.
