Narration of this novel pross 'Yichunmae and Yussi's birth - Affinity and Forming connection - Yichunmae's pass the civil service examination - Yichunmae's death - Yichunmae's a funeral - Yussi's suicide - The heavens lawsuit and A married couple resuscitation - Recovery of social position and Meeting again of a family' additionally, This novel go after 'BirthㆍA successful career of sons and daughters - Suffer form a foreign invasion and Going to the fornt - ConfrontationㆍConquest - An achievementㆍDistinction' The old version of Yichunmaejeon can be categorized as an ethical novel. With the theme of loyalty, this novel contains a heroic story of overcoming a national crisis. Chunmoijyeon Eulsabon Version has the characteristics of heroic novels as well as ethical ones. In addition, prayers to have sons, recovery, lawsuits, and wars are shown more sophisticatedly. Whereas previous versions of Yichunmaejeon had the background of China, this work sets Joseon as its background. The reality is shown through real place names in Korea. Among many versions of Yichunmaejeon, Chunmoijyeon Eulsabon Version has a distinctive meaning in the historical sense.
