국문 초록

이 연구는 문학교육자이자 독서치료사인 연구자가 문학상담 집단 프로그램에서의 시 쓰기와 나눔을 통해 무엇을 경험했는지를 구체적으로 기술함으로써 문학상담에서의 시 쓰기 활동이 갖는 의미와 가치를 탐구하는 데 목적을 둔다. 문학상담은 읽기와 쓰기, 나눔이라는 문학적 상 호작용을 통해 자신과 세계를 탐색하고 타인과 소통하는 과정이다. 이때 다양한 문학적 표현 중에서도 ‘시 쓰기’는 언어의 타자성을 경험함으로써 자신과 세계를 다른 방식으로 볼 수 있 게 하는 중요한 계기가 된다. 그러나‘시’는 쉽게 접근하기 힘든 장르로 인식되는 경향이 있 다. 이 연구는 시 쓰기의 부담을 가졌던 연구자가 문학상담에서의 시쓰기와 나눔을 통해 어떤 변화를 겪게 되었는지를 드러냄으로써 ‘시 쓰기’에 대한 새로운 이해가 가능하도록 도울 수 있다. 또한 문학상담 집단 프로그램에서의 시 쓰기 체험을 의미화하는 작업을 통해 문학상담에 관심을 가진 상담자들과 문학을 통한 자기표현과 소통의 과정에 관심을 지닌 많은 이에게 문학 상담의 의의와 가치를 이해시키는 데 기여할 수 있다. 본고는 문학상담 집단 프로그램에서의 ‘시 쓰기’경험에 대하여 1인칭 연구인 자문화기술지의 방법으로 연구하였다. 연구 결과, “(1) ‘시’로 하는 불편한 말, ‘시’로 듣는 난감한 말, (2) 문학상담 집단 프로그램에서의 시 쓰기: 또 다른 나를 찾아가기, (3) 문학상담 집단 프로그램에서의 나눔: 시는 사랑이다” 라 는 세 개의 큰 주제가 도출되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning and value of poetry writing in literary counseling by describing the researcher's experiences as a literacy educator and bibliotherapist through the writing and sharing of poetry in a literary counseling group program. Literary counseling is a process of exploring oneself and the world and communicating with others through literary interactions of reading, writing, and sharing. Among various literary expressions, 'poetry writing' is an important opportunity to experience the otherness of language and to see oneself and the world in a different way. However, poetry tends to be perceived as an inaccessible genre. This study can help to create a new understanding of 'poetry writing' by revealing how a researcher who struggled to write poetry was changed by writing and sharing poetry in a literary counseling group. In addition, by meaningfulizing of the experience of writing poetry in a literary counseling group program, it can contribute to understanding the meaning and value of literary counseling for those interested in literary counseling and for those interested in the process of self-expression and communication through literature. This paper is an autoethnography that explores my experience of “double poetry writing” in a literary counseling group program. As a result of the study, three major themes emerged: (1) uncomfortable words spoken in 'poetry' and uncomfortable words heard in 'poetry', (2) writing poetry in a literary counseling group program: finding another me, and (3) sharing in a literary counseling group program: poetry is love.
