경도인지장애 치료를 위한 AI 활용 인지재활 시스템 사례 고찰

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 경도인지장애 치료를 위한 생성형 AI활용 인지재활 시스템을 개발하기 위한 기초연구로, 관련 연구의 동향을 파악하고 추후 전망에 대해 분석하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 국내/국외에서 노인을 대상으로 한 연구 중 RISS, Google Scholar, Pubmed 데이터베이스를 사용하여 학술지에 2020년 1월부터 2024년 3월까지 게재된 문헌을 수집하였다. 문헌 검색에 사용한 주요 검색어는 (“AI” OR “인공지능”) AND (“인지” OR “Cognitive”)를 사용하였다. 국내 외 ⋅3개의 데이터베이스에서 113편의 논문이 검색되었고 포함 및 배제 기준에 부합하는 4편을 선정하였다. 연구결과: 4편의 연구에서는 각각 다른 인지기능 개선 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 프로그램 내에서 인공지능의 역할도 인지 훈련의 효율성 증대부터 움직임을 탐지, 데이터 분류에 사용되는 등 각각 달랐다. 그러나 AI를 활용하여 인지재활 프로그램을 개발한 연구는 없었다. 결론: AI의 발전 양상이 빠른 점을 적극적으로 수용하여 인지재활 시스템을 개발하는 것은 개인의 전반적인 웰빙을 향상시킬 수 있는 기회로 생각할 수 있다. 이러한 시스템의 잠재적 영향은 임상 환경에서 전통적인 치료법과 다른 혁신적인 방향성을 제시할 것으로 생각된다.

영문 초록

Objective : This study is a basic study to develop a AI-based cognitive rehabilitation system for the treatment of mild cognitive impairment. Methods : This study collected literature published in journals from January 2020 to March 2024, using the RISS, Google Scholar, and Pubmed databases among studies of the elderly in Korea.The main search terms used in the literature search were (“AI,” OR “Artificial Intelligence”), AND (“Cognitive”), OR “Cognitive”. Results : 113 papers were searched from 3 domestic and foreign databases, and 4 papers that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected. In the four studies, different cognitive function improvement programs were developed, and the role of artificial intelligence within the program was different, ranging from increasing the efficiency of cognitive training to detecting movements and using them for data classification. However, no research has developed a cognitive rehabilitation program using AI. Conclusion : Developing a cognitive rehabilitation system by actively accepting the rapid development of Generative AI can be thought of as an opportunity to improve an individual's overall well-being.
