국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 중장노년층의 사회적 지지와 자기효능감에 대해 알아보고 일반적 특성에 따른 사회적 지지 및 자기효능감과 사회적 지지와 자기효능감 간의 관계에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 2024년 1월 1일부터 동년 1월 31일까지 만 40세 이상의 중장노년층을 대상으로 사회적 지지와 자기효능감에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 구글을 활용하여 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 154부의 자료가 결과분석에 활용되었다. 자료분석은 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석과 기술통계, Mann-Whitney U Test와 Kruskal Wallis Test, Spearman 상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 중장노년층의 사회적 지지와 자기효능감은 ‘보통이상’인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중장노년층의 연령층과 교육수준에 따라 사회적 지지에 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 만 40~49세(중년층)에서 사회적 지지가 높았다. 셋째, 중장노년층의 교육수준, 경제활동, 스스로 지각하는 건강상태에 따라 자기효능감에 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 넷째, 중장노년층의 사회적 지지와 자기효능감은 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 결론: 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 지역사회 중장노년층의 삶의 적응과 삶의 질 향상을 위한 건강관리 프로그램 마련에 도움이 되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between social support and self-efficacy of middle-aged and elderly people, social support and self-efficacy according to general characteristics, and social support and self-efficacy. Methods : From January 1, 2024 to January 31 of the same year, a survey on social support and self-efficacy was conducted for the middle and old aged over 40. An online survey was conducted using Google, and a total of 154 data were used for result analysis. For data analysis, frequency analysis and descriptive statistics, Mann-Whitney U Test and Kruskal Wallis Test, and Spearman correlation analysis were conducted using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results : First, the social support and self-efficacy of the middle-aged and elderly were found to be ‘above average’. Second, there was a significant difference in social support according to the age group and educational level of the middle-aged and elderly, and social support was high in 40-49 years old(middle-aged). Third, there was a significant difference in self-efficacy according to the educational level, economic activity and self-perceived health status of the middle-aged and elderly. Fourth, there was a significant positive correlation between social support and self-efficacy of the middle-aged and elderly. Conclusion : Based on the results of this study, it is expected that it will help middle-aged and elderly people in the community adapt to life and prepare health care programs to improve their quality of life.
