국문 초록

본고는 미술교육에서 영상교육이 지향해야 하는 바가 무엇인지 알아보기 위해 동시대 학습자의 주된 시각적 경험을 견인하고 있는 디지털 영상을 낙서와 비교하여 디지털 영상의 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 낙서 또는 낙서화는 인간의 자발적이고 자유로운 표현 형식으로, 인간 내면의 감정이나 즉흥적 심상을 표출할 수 있는 표현 방법이다. 또한 오늘날의 디지털 기술에 기반하여 제작되고 공유되고 있는 영상은 낙서와 같은 끄적거림이며 생활의 흔적으로 볼 수 있으며, 풍부한 상상력을 필요로 하며 익명성을 갖는다. 이 같은 디지털 영상은 동시대의 또 다른 형태의 낙서화라는 인식을 갖게 한다. 이에 본고에서는 오늘날의 디지털 영상을 디지털 낙서라 칭하고 이를 미술교육에 적용하기 위한 내용에 관해 논하였다. 우리 미술교육에서는 디지털 낙서의 예술성을 탐구하여 적용할 수 있어야 하며, 학습자의 정체성을 탐구할 수 있어야 한다. 또한 디지털 낙서의 익명성에 따른 윤리에 대해 논하고 디지털 낙서를 통한 미술교육적 지식 형성을 위해 노력할 수 있어야 한다. 이와 같은 과정은 학습자의 삶에 능동적으로 작용하는, 조직적인 조건으로 기능할 할 수 있는 미술교육에서의 영상교육 실행을 가능하게 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This article seeks to identify the characteristics of digital images by comparing them to graffiti in order to understand what image education should aim for in art education. Graffiti or graffiti painting is a spontaneous and free expression of the artist, a way of expression that can express inner feelings or improvised images of human beings. In particular, digital images, which dominate most of our visual experiences today, are like graffiti: they are scribbles and traces of life. It's also based on a rich imagination, and it's anonymous. These graffiti-like qualities of digital video have led us to recognize it as the graffiti of the modern age. Therefore, today's digital images are referred to as digital graffiti. In order to apply digital graffiti to the field or content of art education, it is necessary to explore the artistry and new identity of digital graffiti, discuss the ethics of anonymity, and strive for the formation of art education knowledge through digital graffiti. This will allow us to implement video education in art education that can make digital video a leading and organizing condition in the lives of learners rather than a passive acceptance.
