중증장애인을 위한 근로지원인 역할인식과 양성교육 방향에 관한 연구

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 근로지원서비스 이용인과 근로지원인을 대상으로 근로지원인에 대한 역할인식과 양성교육 제고 방안을 모색하는 데에 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 근로지원서비스 이용인(부모)과 근로지원인 등 두 집단을 대상으로 비대면 화상회의 플랫폼을 사용하여 초점집단인터뷰(FGI)를 진행한 후, 내용분석을 실시하여 하위주제를 도출하고 그의 함의를 기술하였다. 연구결과: 먼저 근로지원서비스 이용인들은 현장적응과 능력발달을 위해‘지원’이라는 관점과 동료의식에 바탕을 둔 근로지원인의 기능과 역할을 바라고 있다. 양성교육에 대해서는 장애 유형과 특성을 고려한 교육, 근로지원인의 연령대를 고려한 체계적인 교육과 현장실무, 위기관리 및 보수교육 커리큘럼 보완 등을 요구하였다. 근로지원인들은 근로지원인의 기능과 역할을 직장생활 적응과 유지, 궁극적인 삶의 질 향상, 지역사회 시민으로 성장을 지원하는 것으로 이해하고 있다. 양성 교육에 대해서는 장애 감수성을 갖추고 장애 유형과 특성을 이해해야 하며, 현장업무 지원, 최신의 보조공학기기 등에 대한 교육이 필요한 것으로 보고 있다. 제언: 연구결과를 통해 근로지원인의 장애 감수성 향상과 장애 유형 및 특성에 근로지원인의 역할에 대한 정체성을 강화하는 교육체제, 근로지원인의 연령대를 고려한 맞춤 교육과 위기관리 역량 함양 교육, 구체적이고 다양한 근로지원인 양성교육 과정, 근로지원인의 자기관리와 다양한 직무이해 강화, 교육 방법론적 측면에서의 교육방식의 개선, 제도적 측면에서 양성교육의 이수시간 단축에 대한 재고 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore the role perception of Job support Assistant and the implications and suggestions for improving training programs for both Job support Assistant and their users. The study conducted Focus Group Interviews (FGI) using a non-face-to-face video conference platform targeting job support service users (parents) and Job support Assistance. After the interviews, content analysis was performed to extract sub-themes and describe their implications. The main findings of the study are two-fold. First, Job support service users expect Job support Assistant to function and play roles based on the perspective of 'support' for on-site adaptation and skill development, and a sense of collegiality. They demand education that considers the type and characteristics of disabilities, age-appropriate systematic training for field practice, and improvements to crisis management and refresher training curricula. Second, Job support Assistant understand their functions and roles as helping with workplace adaptation and maintenance, improving the quality of life, and supporting growth as a member of the community. They indicated a need for training that includes understanding disability types and characteristics with sensitivity, support for fieldwork, and education on the latest assistive technologies. The study suggests several recommendations based on the results, including improving job support workers' sensitivity to disabilities and strengthening their identity concerning their role, developing age-appropriate and crisis management training, specific and diverse job support worker training programs, enhancing self-management of Job support Assistant, understanding various job responsibilities, improving educational methodologies, and reconsidering the reduction of required training hours from an institutional perspective.
