국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 무아 수준과 스트레스, 우울은 어떠한 관계가 있는지 살펴봄으로써 유아교사의 정신건강 증진 마련을 위한 기초자료를 제공 하는데 있다. 연구대상은 경상권에 소재한 국공립 유치원 5곳과 사립유치원 4곳, 국공립 어린이집 8곳과 민간어린이집 4곳 등 총 21곳의 근무하고 있는 유아교사 171명을 대상으로 무아, 스트레스, 우울 척도로 설문조사 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아교사의 무아는 높은 수준, 스트레스는 중간 수준, 우울은 낮은 수준을 나타내었다. 둘째, 유아교사의 일반적 배경변인에 따른 무아 수준과 스트레스, 우울 간의 차이를 살펴본 결과 무아 수준은 연령과 교직 경력에서, 스트레스와 우울은 교직 경력에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아교사의 무아 수준은 스트레스와 우울과 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 스트레스와 우울은 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유아교사의 무아 수준을 높여 스트레스와 우울을 낮추면 유아교사들은 정신적으로 건강한 삶을 살아갈 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the relationship between early preschool teacher's level of atman and stress and depression, and to provide a basis for mental health promotion programs for early preschool teachers. A total of 171 early preschool teachers from 21 organizations, including 5 public and 4 private kindergartens and, 8 public and 4 private daycare centers, located in the Gyeongsangbuk-do region, were surveyed using the atony, stress, and depression scale. The results showed that, first, early preschool teachers had high levels of anhedonia, medium levels of stress, and low levels of depression. Second, we examined the differences between atonality, stress, and depression finding that atonality varied by age and teaching experience, and stress and depression varied by teaching experience. Third, we found that early preschool teacher's level of innocence was inversely correlated with stress and depression, while stress and depression were positively correlated. Therefore, increasing early preschool teacher's level of innocence and reducing stress and depression may help them lead mentally healthy lives.
