어머니 문지기 역할 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구: 영유아기 자녀를 둔 부모의 지각 차이를 중심으로

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 부모의 지각 차이를 고려한 영유아기 자녀 어머니의 문지기 역할 측정도구를 개발하고, 개발된 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구방법: 어머니의 문지기 역할과 관련된 선행연구 고찰 및 면접조사를 통해 예비문항을 구성하였다. 부산과 경상지역에 거주하는 만 1～만 5세 자녀를 둔 부모를 대상으로 온라인 및 오프라인 설문을 실시하였고 총 432부(부 207명, 모 225명)를 최종 분석 자료로 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 문지기 역할은 어머니용, 아버지용 모두 문열기, 문닫기, 의사소통의 3가지 요인이 추출되었다. 각각의 요인들이 나타내는 문항들(어머니용: 17문항, 아버지용: 20문항)은 어머니용과 아버지용이 동일하지 않았다. 둘째, 확인적 요인분석을 통하여 구인타당도를 검증하였고, 부모공동양육 간의 상관분석을 통하여 수렴타당도가 적절함을 확인하였다.결론: 부모의 지각 차이를 중심으로 개발한 어머니 문지기 역할 측정 도구는 어머니 문지기 역할에 대한 어머니의 인식과 아버지의 지각 모두 살펴볼 수 있어 어머니의 문지기 역할을 측정하고자 하는 연구자들에게 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

Objective: This study aims to develop a maternal gatekeeping scale for parents with infants and toddlers, focusing on differences of perceptions between fathers and mothers, and to validate the scale’s reliability and validity. Methods: The items of measurement were constructed through a literature review and interviews with seven parents in a pilot study. Data were collected from 432 parents(fathers: 207, mothers: 225) with children aged 1-5 years old who were living in the Busan and Gyeongsang areas. They were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. Results: The results of the exploratory factor analysis showed that three factors were extracted for maternal gatekeeping: gate opening, gate closing, and communication. The three factors fitted well with both parents; however, not all items representing each dimension were identical for mothers and fathers. Confirmatory factor analysis and correlational analyses with co-parenting showed the construct validity of the scales. Conclusion: The scale could be a useful measure for researchers accessing the perceptions of mothers and fathers regarding maternal gatekeeping behavior.
