인간중심 휴머니튜드케어 교육프로그램이 사회복지학과 학부생의 인간중심태도와 의사소통에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 사회복지학과 대학생들의 치매노인 케어 역량 증진을 위해 휴머니튜드 케어 방법을 기반으로 한 인간중심 케어교육 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과성을 검증하였다. 본 연구는 무작위 대조군(Randomized controlled Trial, RCT) 전후 실험연구이며, 45명의 사회복지학과 대학생이 연구에 참여하였다. 연구자들은 학생들의 언어적(공감, 인간중심 의사소통), 비언어적(인간중심태도) 치매 케어 역량 증진을 위해 휴머니튜드케어 기반 인간중심케어 교육프로그램(320시간)을 개발하였다. 실험군은 휴머니튜드케어 기반 인간중심케어 교육을 제공하였으며, 비교군은 치매증상 및 의사소통 역량 함양을 위한 일반 교육을 제공하였다. 교육프로그램 전후 효과를 확인하기 위해 SPSS 24 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 Paired T test와 Independent sample t-test를 시행하였다. 실험군, 비교군, 두 집단 내 사전-사후비교에서, 실험군의 경우 공감(t=-6.635, p=.000), 인간중심 의사소통(t=-4.961, p=.000), 인간중심태도(t=3.734, p=.001)에서 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈으나 비교군에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 사후 값에 대한 두 집단 간 차이 검증에서는 인간중심태도가 유의미한 차이가 있었으나(t=2.308, p=.026), 의사소통과 공감의경우 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 치매에 대한 인간중심 태도 역량을 함양하기 위한 교육의 토대를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study purpose was to develop and verify the effectiveness a person-centered care education program based on the humanitude care method(HCM) to improve the care capacity of the dementia among social welfare college students. This study was a randomized controlled trial (RCT) before and after the experimental study and 45 social welfare college students participated. Researchers developed a Person-centered care education program based on a humanitude care method(320 hours) for the elderly with dementia to improve student’s verbal(empathy, person-centered communication) and non-verbal (person-centered attitude) dementia care capabilities. HCM was provided to the experimental group, and general dementia care education was provided to the control group. Paired T-test and independent sample t-test were conducted using the SPSS 24 statistical program to confirm the effect before and after the educational program. In the pre-post comparison within the group, in the case of the experimental group, empathy (t=-6.635, p=.000), person-centered communication (t=-4.961, p=.000), person-centered attitude (t=3.734, p=.000) showed a significant difference, but in the case of the comparison group, there was no significant difference. In the test of the difference between the two groups for the post hoc value, there was a significant difference in person-centered attitude (t=2.308, p=.026), but no significant difference in communication and empathy. Based on this results, the educational basis for enhancing person-centered attitude competency for dementia caregivers was presented.
