인지기능 향상 프로그램을 동한 또래중재학습경험이 유아의 지능에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 인지기능 향상 프로그램이 유아들의 지능에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것과 중재학습경험을 통한 또래중재의 수업활용가능성을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 J 시 어린이집 만5 세 유아 16 명을 무작위로 실험집단8 명과 통제집단8 명으로 선정하였으며, 실험집단은 유능한 또래 4 명에 의해 4 명이 중재되는 프로그램을 실시한다 실험집단의 실험기간은 3 개월간 주 2 회 40분씩 총 25 회기를 실시하였다. 측정도구는 K-Raven 의 지능검사를사전사후에 실시하였으며, 중재학습경험 척도를사후에 평가하여 중재유형을 분석하였다. 연구결과 인지기능 향상에 있어서 실험집단과 통제집단 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 이는 인지기능 향상 프로그램이 지능 향상에 효과적이라는 것이 밝혀졌다. 그리고 중재집단의 중재유형 분석 결과는 유효중재 33 회, 혼잣말 21 회, 비중재 19 회, 틀린 이해 13 회, 유효이해 11 회의 순으로 나타나 또래중재의 지도가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론적으로 유아들에게 인지기능 향상 프로그램이 지능 향상에 도움이 된다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 유능한 또래들의 도움을 교육현장에 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시했다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of a FIE program on children's intelligence and the feasibility of peer mediation based on mediated learning experience in kindergarten. For the study, 16 under five-year-olds were randomly sampled from a kindergarten in J City and divided into the experimental group and the control group, eight in each group. The experimental group had a FIE program where four children were mediated by the other four. The program was carried out twice a week for the period of three months. Under the program children in the group completed 25 sessions of 40 minutes each and undenvent the K-Raven intelligence test before and after the program. In addition, the study post-evaluated the effects of mediated learning experience to analyze the types of mediation. The results showed a statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. The indicates that the FIE program served to improve the children's intelligence. The analysis of mediation types found 33 occasions for validity mediation, 25 for monologue, 20 for incorrect mediation, 13 for incorrect understanding, and 11 for validity understanding, demonstrating the educational feasibility of peer mediation. In conclusion, these findings suggest that the FIE program could contribute to improving children's intelligence and that more capable children in a peer group could be made available for educational purposes.
