초등학교 체육과 교육과정 변화에 따른 표현 영역의 신체활동 내용과 예시 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 체육과 교육과정 표현 영역의 신체활동 내용과 예시를 탐색하여 달라진 변화를 알아보고 그에 따른 개선 방향을 제안하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 통해 초등학교 체육과 표현 영역 수업의 활성화와 무용소양 함양에 도움을 주고자 한다. 본 연구의 방법은 문교부, 교육과학기술부, 교육부에서 제정하고 교육부와 한국교육과정평가원의 국가교육과정정보센터의 홈페이지에 탑재된 초등학교 교육과정 체육과 표현 영역 신체활동의 내용과 예시 관련 자료들을 중심으로 문헌 연구를 활용하여 자료를 수집하고 내용 분석과 비교 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 제1차 교육과정에서부터 2022 개정 교육과정까지 언급된 표현 영역 신체활동 내용과 예시의 명칭을 살펴보면, ‘리듬놀이’, ‘춤놀이’, ‘무용’, ‘리듬과 표현운동’, ‘표현활동’, ‘기본 움직임의 기초 표현’, ‘기본 움직임의 표현 방법’, ‘스포츠 표현 활동’, ‘전통 표현 활동’, ‘현대 표현 활동’으로 구성되었다. 초등학교 교육과정 체육과 표현 영역의 신체활동 내용과 예시의 주요어를 살펴보면, 몸익히기, 리듬, 모방표현, 춤추기, 표현, 감상, 민속무용, 표현무용, 움직임 언어(이동 움직임, 비이동 움직임, 조작 움직임), 표현 요소(신체, 공간, 노력, 관계 등), 즉흥표현, 창작무용, 실용무용, 체조(꾸미기, 공, 리본, 후프, 창작), 음악 줄넘기, 기본 움직임, 추상표현 등이다. 따라서 본 연구자는 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 기본 움직임의 표현 방법 중 리듬을 기초로 하기, 스포츠/전통/현대 표현 활동의 제자리 찾기 및 확대하기, 무용소양 함양하기를 제안한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore the contents and examples of physical activity in the elementary school physical education curriculum expression area to determine the changes and suggest the direction of improvement accordingly. Through this, it is intended to help vitalize elementary school physical education and expression classes and develop dance literacy. The method of this study was established by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and Ministry of Education and published on the homepage of the National Curriculum Information Center of the Ministry of Education and the Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation. Data were collected using the research, and content and comparative analyses were conducted. The results were as follows. The names of the contents and examples of physical activities in the expression area mentioned from the first curriculum to the 2022 revised curriculum included the following: “rhythm play,” “dance play,” “dance,” “rhythm and expression movement,” “expression activity,” “basic expression of basic movements,” “expression methods of basic movements,” “sports expression activities,” “traditional expression activities,” and “modern expression activities.” The main words of physical activity contents and examples in the physical education and expression areas of the elementary school curriculum included the following: body mastery, rhythm, imitation expression, dancing, expression, appreciation, folk dance, expressive dance, movement language (movement movement, non-movement movement, and manipulation movement), expression elements (body, space, effort, and relationship), improvisational expression, creative dance, practical dance, gymnastics (decoration, ball, ribbon, hoop, and creation), skipping music, basic movement, and abstract expression. Therefore, based on the results of this study, the researcher proposes according to the rhythm among the basic movement expression methods, finding and expanding sports/traditional/contemporary expression activities, and cultivating dance literacy.
