국문 초록

이 연구에서는 초･중등학교 원격교육에서 학생들이 학교공동체의식을 함양할 수 있는 교수학습방안 및 제도적 개선방안을 탐색하였다. 원격교육에서 학생들은 교사, 학생, 학습내용으로 구성된 학습공동체 안에서 상호작용을 통해 학습경험을 형성하고 학교공동체와 연결될 수 있다. 원격교육에서 학교공동체 의식을 함양하기 위해서는 대면수업 환경보다 적극적인 교육적 접근이 요구된다. 첫째, 구성원의식을 함양하기 위한 커뮤니티 형성이 필요하다. 커뮤니티를 기반으로 학생들은 학습자 상호 간 협력적 상호작용을 강화하여 내적 학습 동기를 형성하고, 학교공동체에 소속되어 있음을 느낄 수 있다. 둘째, 학생들의 협력적 참여를 촉진하는 교수학습법의 적용이 요구된다. 학생들이 학교공동체를 경험하고 상호영향을 주고받으며 상호 간의 관계성을 경험할 수 있도록 커뮤니티를 기반으로 개별 학생들의 동등한 참여기회 보장, 학습 과정과 결과를 협력적으로 성찰할 수 있는 수업 설계, 성취 수준을 자율적으로 점검할 수 있는 루브릭 제시 등이 요구된다. 셋째, 교사와 학생의 역할 재정립이 필요하며 학생은 학습 과정에서 의사결정의 주체가 되어야 하고, 교사는 이 과정에서 학습자의 선택과 실행을 신뢰하고 촉진해주며 지지하는 지원자가 되어야 한다. 제도적 개선방안으로는 ｢원격교육법｣의 정의 규정 개선을 제안하였다. 원격교육 환경에서 학생들이 실질적으로 참여하고 협력적으로 학습을 지속할 수 있도록 원격교육은 교사와 학생 간 그리고 동료 학생 상호 간 상호작용을 촉진하기 위한 교육이 되어야 한다는 관점이 정의 규정에 명시되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

In this study, teaching and learning measures and institutional improvement measures were explored in which students can cultivate a sense of school community in distance education in elementary and secondary schools. In distance education, students can form learning experiences and be connected to the school community through interaction within a learning community composed of teachers, students, and learning contents. In order to cultivate a sense of school community in distance education, an active educational approach is required rather than a face-to-face class environment. First, it is necessary to form a community to foster a sense of membership. Based on the community, students can strengthen cooperative interactions between learners to form internal learning motivation and feel that they belong to the school community. Second, the application of the teaching and learning method that promotes the cooperative participation of students is required. In order for students to experience the school community, interact with each other, and experience relationships, it is required to ensure equal opportunities for individual student based on the community, design classes that can collaboratively reflect on the learning process and results, and present rubric that can autonomously check achievement levels. Third, it is necessary to redefine the roles of teachers and students, and students should be the subject of decision-making in the learning process, and teachers should be volunteers who trust, promote, and support learners' choices and execution in this process. As an institutional improvement plan, it was suggested that the definition of the ｢Distance Education Act｣ needs to be improved, with the view that distance education should be an education to promote interaction between teachers, students, and fellow students so that students can participate and continue learning cooperatively in a remote education environment.
