학교 밖 청소년 낙인에 관한 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 학교 밖 청소년 낙인에 관한 연구 동향을 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국교육학술정보원(RISS)에서 ‘학교 밖 청소년 낙인’, ‘학업중단 청소년 낙인’을 주요 키워드로 검색하여 총 47편의 연구를 대상으로 발행 연도, 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구변인, 측정도구를 기준으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 발행 연도별 논문 수는 2020년에 가장 많이 발행되었다. 둘째, 연구방법은 총 47편의 논문 중 45편이 양적연구로 진행되었다. 셋째, 연구대상으로는 47편의 논문 중 43편이 학업중단 청소년 패널조사(한국청소년정책연구원, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) 데이터를 이용하여 연구되었다. 넷째, 변인별 동향은 학교 밖 청소년 낙인이 독립변인으로 사용된 논문이 가장 많았다. 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 연구의 한계점과 향후 제언에 관하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify research trends in stigma of out of school adolescents. Methods: The 47 papers from domestic journals, listed on RISS(Research Information Sharing Service), were selected using major keywords such as stigma of out-of-school adolescents and stigma of school dropout adolescents. They were analyzed by the year of publication, research subjects, research methods, variables, and scales. Results: First, in terms of the year of publication, the number of papers was the largest with 18 papers in 2020 and research has been steadily conducted since then. Second, as for the research method, 45 papers out of a total of 47 papers were conducted as quantitative research, and 2 papers were conducted as qualitative research. Third, the 43 out of 47 papers were studied using data of the Panel Survey of School Dropouts(National Youth Policy Institute, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), which consists of 600 dropouts through the Ministry of Education/Office of Education and 200 dropouts through the Ministry of Justice/probation offices. Fourth, to measure stigma of out-of-school adolescents, the Stigma Scale(Harvey, 2001) was used most, which consists of 8 items translated by Joo(2002) and used by Bae et al.(2010). Fifth, stigma of out-of-school adolescents was most often used as a independent variable. Conclusions: Based on the results, the limitations of this study and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
