국문 초록

연구에서는 만 4세 유아가 자유놀이 시간에 놀이그룹 가입을 하기 위한 행동 변화와 놀이그룹 가입 후 상황 변화에 대해 살펴보았다. 자유놀이 시간에 일어나는 또래 간의 상호작용을 중심으로 관찰하여 분석한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 자유놀이 상황에서 나타나는 놀이가입을 위한 행동으로는 배회하기, 참여하기, 전환하기가 나타났다. 둘째, 유아는 놀이가입행동 시도 시 상호작용 공간을 위협하는 방해자였으나 놀이그룹에 참여하게 되면서 놀이그룹 안에서 수용자로 인정받는 변화가 나타났다. 셋째, 놀이그룹에 가입했을 때, 유아는 서툴지만 조금씩 친구와 의미 있는 상호작용을 경험하였다. 본 연구에서는 작고 힘없어 보이는 한 유아가 스스로의 힘으로 자신과 주변의 세계를 어떻게 변화시키는지 살펴봄으로써 놀이문화에 내포된 유아의 생활세계를 이해하고 놀이의 교육적 가치를 재조명해 보았다.

영문 초록

.In this research, it was examined through a qualitative study what entry behaviors into a play group a four-year-old child tried in a free play context in order to join a play group, and what situation occurred after the participant participation into a play group. The study results observed and analyzed focusing on the child s peer relationship during the free activities are as the following. First, as for the behaviors displayed by the child in the free play context, loitering, participation, and convert were observed. Second, while the child was trying the entry behaviors into the play group, she was regarded as an obstructor threatening the space for interaction, but when she joined the play group, the situation changed and she came to be acknowledge as a recipient in the play group. Third, when the participant joined the play group, she began to do a run-up little by little even though she was poor at it, and experienced meaningful interaction with friends. In this research, it was investigated how a small and seemingly weak child in a classroom changed herself and her surroundings by her own power, children s life implied in their play culture was understood, and the educational values of play were explored again.
