성격강점이 예비보육교사의 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구목적은 예비보육교사가 인식하는 성격 강점과 주관적 안녕감의 인식정도를 살펴보고, 성격 강점이 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향력을 분석하여 예비보육교사의 성격 강점에 대한 이해를 넓히고, 보육과 교육 장면에 적합한 성격 강점 활용법 및 성격 강점을 증진할 수 있는 다양한 교육프로그램을 개발하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법: 본 연구 대상은 부산시 소재 4년제 D 대학교 보육 전공 학생들을 대상으로 성격 강점 검사지와 주관적 안녕감 검사지 114부의 설문지를 연구에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 평균과 표준편차를 산출하여 성격 강점과 주관적 안녕감에 대한 인식 정도를 분석하였고, 성격강점이 예비보육교사의 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보기 위하여 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 예비보육교사가 인식하는 성격 강점은 초월성 관련 덕목이 가장 높게 나타났고 다음으로 인간애 덕목이 높게 나타났다. 정의관련 덕목은 가장 낮게 나타났다. 24가지 세부 강점 인식정도에서는 감사가 가장 높게 나타났고, 공정성이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 또한 예비보육교사의 주관적 안녕감은 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 성격 강점은 예비보육교사의 주관적 안녕감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 성격 강점 하위 덕목 중에서 절제 관련 덕목과 정의 관련 덕목이 주관적 안녕감에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 24개 세부 강점 중에서 용서, 사랑, 신중성, 공정성이 주관적 안녕감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 예비보육교사의 성격 강점은 주관적 안녕감에 긍정적 영향을 미치며, 세부 강점 중 용서, 신중성, 사랑, 공정성 등의 강점 요소가 예비보육교사의 주관적 안녕감을 증진하는데 이바지한다.

영문 초록

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the tendency of personality strengths and subjective well-being perceived by pre-service childcare teachers, to analyze the influence of personality strengths on subjective well-being to broaden the understanding of pre-service childcare teachers personality strengths, and to provied data for developing childcare and education programs that can enhance personality strengths and use personality strengths suitable for the individual. Methods: The subjects of this study were to use a personality strength test paper and 114 subjective well-being test papers for child-majoring students at 4-year D university in Busan. The collected data were analyzed by calculating the mean and standard deviation to analyze the degree of perception of personality strength and subjective well-being, and a step-by-step regression analysis was performed to examine the effect of personality strength on the subjective well-being of pre-service childcare teachers. Results: First, regarding the personality strengths recognized by pre-service childcare teachers, the virtue of transcendence was the highest, followed by the virtue of humanity. The virtue of justice was at the lowest level. At the recognition level of 24 detailed strengths, audit showed the highest level, and fairness showed the lowest level. In addition, the subjective well-being of pre-service childcare teachers was high. Second, personality strength was found to have a significant effect on the subjective well-being of pre-service childcare teachers. Among the sub-virtues of personality strength, temerance-related and justice-related virtues had a significant effect on subjective well-being, and among 24 detailed strengths, forgivenss, love, prudence, and fairness had a significant effect on subjective well-being. Conclusions: Character strengths of pre-service childcare teachers have a positive effect on subjective well-being, and among the detailed strengths, strength factors such as forgiveness, prudence, love, and fairness contribute to enhancing the subjective well-being of pre-service childcare teachers.
