대학생들의 예술 인식에 대한 개념도 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학 교양 교육에서 맞춤형 예술교육을 위한 기초 자료를 얻고자 대학생들의 예술에 대한 인식 구조를 분석한 개념도 연구이다. 이를 위해 대학생 15명을 대상으로 예술 인식에 대한 아이디어를 산출하였고, 최종적으로 56개의 진술문을 도출하였다. 이들 진술문에 대해 참여자들이 평정한 범주의 유사성 행렬을 활용하여 다차원분석과 군집분석을 실시하여 개념도 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 대학생들이 인식하고 있는 예술은 ‘포괄적-구체적’과 ‘사람-작품’의 두 차원으로 나뉘어 있었다. 둘째, 군집은 ‘예술의 본질과 표현’, ‘예술의 기능’, ‘나와 구별된 세계’의 3개 범주로 이루어져 있었다. 셋째, 각진술문에 대해 연구 대상자가 동의하는 정도는 ‘예술의 본질과 표현’ 군집이 가장 높았고 다음으로 ‘예술의 기능’ 군집과 ‘나와 구별된 세계’ 군집이 뒤를 이었으며 예술에 대한 포괄적인 진술이 구체적인 진술에 비해 동의가 높은 것으로 나타났다.연구 결과를 바탕으로 맞춤형 예술교육과 관련한 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대해 논의하고 후속 연구를 위해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze the undergraduates’ awareness structure of art and to use it as basic data for customized education in university liberal arts education. The idea of art awareness was come up with for 15 undergraduates, 56 statements were obtained. The multidimensional analysis and cluster analysis for these statements were conducted using the similarity matrix of the categories evaluated by the participants to analyze the concept mapping. As a result of the study, first, art awareness by undergraduates was divided into two dimensions: comprehensive-specific and person-artwork . Second, the cluster was consisted of three categories: the essence and expression of art , the function of art , and the world distinct from me . Third, the result about the degree of agreement was the essence and expression of art cluster was the highest, function of art was the second and world distinct from me was the last. Moreover, comprehensive statements were found to have higher agreement than specific statements. Based on the research results, the significance and limitations of this study related to customized art education were discussed and suggested for future research.
