국문 초록

코로나19 팬데믹으로 인해 전 세계의 경제시장은 침체기를 맞이하였고, 각종 산업 전반에 걸쳐 피해가 발생하고 있다. 특히, 인적 대면 서비스의 의존도가 높은 카지노 산업의 경우 코로나19로 인한 경기심리 위축으로 직격탄을 받은 상황이다. 이에 따라, 카지노 시큐리티 종사원의 고용환경에 대한 불안정성과 더불어 방역 및 위생관리의 중요성에 따른 보안관리 업무 과중, 고객과의 접점에서 근무하는 감정노동의 어려움을 가지고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 카지노 시큐리티 종사원을 대상으로 감성지능이 자기효능감 및 고객지향성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 기업의 경쟁력을 높이는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 카지노에서 근무하는 시큐리티 종사원을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해, 총 212부의 설문지를 SPSS 24.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석, 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 카지노 시큐리티 종사원의 감성지능은 자기효능감에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 카지노 시큐리티 종사원의 감성지능은 고객지향성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 카지노 시큐리티 종사원의 감성지능을 높이면 자기효능감 및 고객지향성이 높아져 보안 목표 달성과 기업 경쟁력 향상에 도움을 줄 수 있다는 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused economic markets around the world to stagnate, and economic damage is occurring throughout various industries. In particular, the casino industry, which relies heavily on face-to-face services, has been directly hit by the contraction of economic sentiment caused by COVID-19. As a result, the casino security officers have instability in the employment environment, excessive security management due to the importance of quarantine and sanitation management, and difficulty in emotional labor working at the customer interface. This study aims to examine the impact of emotional intelligence on self-efficacy and customer orientation among casino security workers and suggest ways to increase the competitiveness of companies. To this end, a survey with 212 questionnaires on security officers working in casinos conducted using SPSS 24.0 to analyze frequency, exploratory factors, reliability, correlation, and multiple regression analyses. As a first result of the servery, the emotional intelligence of casino security workers has a positive impact on self-efficacy. Secondly, the emotional intelligence of casino security workers has a positive impact on customer orientation. Based on these findings, this study suggested that increasing the emotional intelligence of casino security officers can increase self-efficacy and customer orientation, which can help achieve security goals and improve corporate competitiveness.
