유아의 기질, 애착 및 미디어중독 간의 경로분석

국문 초록

연구목적: 구조방정식 모델을 활용하여 유아의 기질과 애착이 어떠한 경로로 유아의 미디어 중독에 영향을 주는지 확인하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 연구방법: 연구목적의 실현을 위하여 B시에 소재한 유치원에 재원중인 유아 319명을 대상으로 유아 기질, 유아 애착 및 유아 미디어 중독의 정도를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS와 AMOS 프로그램을 통하여 기술통계, Peason 상관계수, 경로분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 유아의 사회성, 활동성 기질은 애착을 높이지만 정서성 기질은 애착을 낮추었다. 둘째, 유아의 정서성 기질은 미디어중독을 높이는 결과를 보여주었다. 셋째, 유아의 애착은 미디어 중독을 낮추었다. 넷째, 유아의 애착은 정서성, 활동성, 사회성 기질과 미디어중독 사이에서 부분매개효과를 가지고 있었다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 유아의 기질과 애착의 정도가 유아 미디어중독에 끼치는 영향을 확인함으로써 유아교육기관 및 가정에서 유아의 미디어중독에 대한 대응을 위한 기초적인 정보를 제공하고, 향후 미디어중독을 떨어뜨리기 위한 각종 연구의 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine how infants temperament and attachment affect infant s media addiction by using a structural equation model. Method: For this purpose, the degree of infant temperament, infant attachment, and infant media addiction were measured for 319 children who are enrolled in a kindergarten located in B city. For the collected data, descriptive statistics, Peason correlation coefficient, and path analysis were performed through SPSS and AMOS programs. Results: The research results were as follows. First, social and active temperament of infants increased attachment, but emotional temperament lowered attachment. Second, the emotional temperament of infants showed the result of increasing media addiction. Third, attachment of infants lowered media addiction. Fourth, attachment of infants had a partial mediating effect between emotionality, activity, social temperament, and media addiction. Conclusion: This study confirmed the effect of infant s temperament and degree of attachment on children s media addiction. As a result, it is possible to provide basic information for responding to media addiction in early childhood education institutions and at home. In addition, the results of this study can be used as data for various studies to reduce media addiction in the future.
