재수 후 입학한 코로나 학번 학생들의 대학생활 경험에 대한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 재수 후 입학한 학생들이 코로나19 팬데믹으로 인한 교육환경의 변화 속에서 경험하게 되는 대학생활을 심층적으로 탐색하여 본질적인 의미 구조를 이해하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 재수 후 입학한 2020학번 대학생 6명을 대상으로 심층 면담을 진행하였고, van Manen의 해석학적 현상학 방법을 적용하여 그들의 경험세계를 Martin Heidegger의 존재론적 관점에서 접근하고 이해하였다. 연구결과: 참여자들의 체험된 시간성은 “불가피한 코로나19 팬데믹 상황 속에서의 기투”, 체험된 공간성은 “실존의 공간이 된 또 다른 공간인 온라인”, 체험된 신체성은 “코로나에 발목 잡혀 우울한 기분에 젖은 현존재”, 체험된 관계성은 “다만 함께 거기에 있음과 서로 함께 있음”이었다. 이러한 네 차원을 포괄하는 결과를 바탕으로 대학생들은 “새로운 상황에서 기투하는 ‘나의 존재’ 발견하기”의 세계-내 존재인 실존체로서, 그들이 기대했던 대학생활을 하지 못하는 상황에 처해 있으면서도 발견한 것은 기투하고 있는 그들 ‘존재’였다. 논의 및 결론: 이번 연구는 재수 후 입학한 학생들의 대학생활의 어려움으로 인하여 심리적 문제로 호소하는 학생들의 상담에 있어서 어떤 각도로 접근해야 하는지에 대한 도움이 되는 실제적인 자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 시사하는 바가 크다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to understand the intrinsic meaning structure by in-depth exploration of university life lived experiences of students who entered the university after retake amid changes in the educational environment caused by COVID-19. Method: This study conducted in-depth interviews with 6 university students in the class of 2020 who entered the university after retake. By applying van Manen s hermeneutic phenomenology methodology, the lived experience from the ontological point of view of Martin Heidegger. Results: As a result, the lived experience temporality of the participants was “Projection toward the unavoidable COVID-19 pandemic situation”, the lived experience spatiality was “Non-face-to-face online another space is the space of existence”, the lived experience physicality was “Dasein who got a depressed mood of existence caught up in the COVID-19”, and the lived experience relationship “Only but being there together and being with each other.” Based on the results encompassing these four dimensions, the university students as entities that are existence within the world of “Discovering ‘my exsistence’ to project in new situation”, it was their projecting existence that they discovered while they were in a situation where they did not have the expected university life. Conclusion: This study has significant implications in that it provides practical data that can help students who have entered after retake and from what angle we should approach counseling for students who complain of psychological problems due to the difficulties of university life.
