동화 그림책을 활용한 미술치료 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 2004년부터 2020년 9월까지 국내 학위논문과 학술지에 게재된 동화 그림책을 활용한 미술치료 연구 46편을 연구대상으로 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 최근 16년간 동화 그림책을 활용한 미술치료 연구가 지속적으로 이루어지고 있으며 연구 수가 증가하는 추세이다. 둘째, 연구대상은 유아와 초등학생, 성별은 혼성, 인원수는 집단, 진단여부는 일반대상이 다수로 나타났다. 셋째, 연구방법 유형은 실험연구와 사례연구, 연구설계 유형은 실험-통제 집단설계의 비중이 높았고 연구결과 제시유형은 통합적 분석, 종속변인은 사회성, 자아개념의 비중이 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 구조와 프로그램의 분석결과, 형태는 집단, 환경은 기타 장소, 회기 수는 10회기 이상 30회기 미만, 주당 시행 횟수는 1-2회, 회기당 시간은 60분 이하가 높은 빈도로 나타났다. 미술치료 목표는 의사소통이 가장 많았고, 다수의 연구가 동화 그림책의 선정 기준과 근거를 제시하였으며, 예비연구는 대부분 미실시로 나타났다. 프로그램에 활용된 동화 그림책 유형은 창작이 대다수이며, 활용방법은 연구자가 대상 특성에 따른 동화 그림책을 선정, 제시하고 그 주제와 연구 대상자의 현실적 적용을 미술활동으로 연계하는 방법이 주로 사용되었다. 사용된 미술매체는 평면건식매체와 종이매체가 다수 사용되었다. 본 연구는 동화 그림책을 활용한 통합적 관점의 미술치료에 대한 기초를 마련하고 활용될 수 있다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study targeted 46 art therapy studies using fairy tale picture books published in domestic dissertations and academic journals from 2004 to September 2020. First, it has been continuously conducted and the number of studies has been increasing. Second, the subjects of the study were infants and elementary school students, gender was mixed, the number of people was a group, and general targets were the main targets. Third, the majority of research method types were experimental and case studies, while the research design type had a high proportion of experimental-control group design, and the type of presentation of research results was integrated analysis. The dependent variable showed a high proportion of sociality. Fourth, as a result of analyzing structures and programs, most of the form were the group and the art therapy session was mostly over 10-30 sessions, 1-2 sessions per week, and 60 minutes per session. The most goal of art therapy programs was communication. A majority of the researches used creative fairy tale picture books for their art therapy programs. The method of utilization is to select and present a picture book of fairy tales according to the characteristics of the target and a method of linking realistic applications to art activities was mainly used. Planar dry media and paper recorded a very high proportion of art media used in the art therapy process. This study is significant in that it can lay the foundation for art therapy from an integrated perspective using fairy tale picture books.
