텍스트마이닝과 토픽모델링을 활용한 표현예술치료 분야의 연구 동향 분석(1999-2020)

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 표현예술치료 분야의 연구 동향을 살펴보기 위하여 1999년도부터 2020년까지 발간된 논문의 초록과 서지 정보를 텍스트마이닝과 토픽모델링 기법으로 분석하였다. 연구 방법으로는 1단계는 R 프로그램을 사용하고 2단계는 NetMiner 프로그램을 적용하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 주요 핵심어는 ‘자아존중감’, ‘스트레스’, ‘미술치료’, ‘대인관계’, ‘실험집단’ 등의 순서로 빈도수가 높았다. 중심 연구 주제는 텍스트네트워크 분석에서 ‘자아존중감’, ‘대인관계’, ‘자기표현’이 높은 순위로 나타났다. 토픽모델링 분석 결과, 중심 토픽은 표현예술치료의 치료적 특성과 효과로서 논문 수가 가장 많았다. 분석 대상을 10년 단위로 1기와 2기로 구분하여 시기별 토픽의 추세 변화를 분석한 결과, 1기에는 발달장애와 여성 등의 연구가 많았다면, 2기에는 예술 기반의 치료적 체험과 다양한 표현 매체 적용 등에 관한 연구의 관심으로 ‘예술치료 체험에 대한 현상학적 연구’와 ‘표현 매체로서 디지털 콘텐츠와 문학치료’에 관한 토픽이 증가하고 연구 주제와 대상의 범위도 1기보다 세분되고 확장되었음을 보여 주었다. 두 시기에서 가장 비중이 높은 공통 토픽은 ‘표현예술치료의 치료적 특성과 효과’로 나타났다. 본 연구는 텍스트마이닝과 토픽모델링 기법을 적용하여 과거 20년 동안 표현예술치료 분야의 주요 연구 대상과 연구 주제들을 도출하여 학문적 체계 정립의 토대를 제공하고 시간에 따른 연구 동향을 파악했다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

This study is to identify research trends in the field of expressive arts therapy in Korea by analyzing thesis abstracts and bibliographic data published from 1999 to 2020 with text mining and topic modeling. The research methods were R-studio in the 1st stage and Net Miner in the 2nd stage. The results of the study are as follows. From the frequency analysis, the main key words were “self-esteem”, “stress”, “art therapy”, “interpersonal relationships”, and “experimental group”. The core research topics were “self-esteem”, “interpersonal relations” and “self-expression” that ranked high in the analysis of text network. From the topic modeling analysis, “therapeutic properties and effects of expressive arts therapy” had the largest number of papers which is considered as the core topic. Lastly, the tendency of topics over every decade has changed. There were many studies related to disabilities and women in the 1st period, while topics related to “phenomenological study of arts therapy experience” and “digital contents and bibliotherapy as expressive mediums” increased focus on the application of various expressive media and art-based therapeutic experiences in the 2nd period. Conclusively, the scope of research topics in the 2nd period has been subdivided and diversified. The most common topic between both periods was “therapeutic characteristics and effects of expressive arts therapy”. This study derives major research subjects from the past 20 years by applying text mining and topic modeling in expressive arts therapy. This is meaningful because it provides this field with the academic foundation and it grasps the research trends.
