시흥행궁의 위치 재조명과 활용 사례고찰

국문 초록

시흥행궁은 1795년 을묘년 원행을 위해 만들어진 행궁이다. 하지만 시흥행궁과 관련된 사료 부족으로 인해 시흥행궁에 대한 정확한 위치를 알 수 없었고, 기존 연구자들이 주장하는 시흥행궁 추정지와는 다른 지역을 주장하는 지역 주민들의 의견이 있어왔다. 필자는 시흥행궁과 시흥현 관아가 같은 곳이며, 기존 연구자들이 주장하는 시흥행궁 추정지를 세 가지 근거를 추가 보완하여 제시하면서 현재의 시흥동 827, 828, 830일부 지역이 시흥행궁지라는 것을 더 명확히 입증하였다. 세 가지 근거는 첫째, 1899년 경기도시흥군읍지의 사직단과 향교의 좌향이 1872년 시흥현지도의 시흥행궁 주변 위치와 정확히 일치하는 점, 둘째, 시흥환어행렬도 속 시흥행궁 및 부속 건물, 은행나무의 위치가 2020년 스카이뷰를 통해 본 시흥행궁 추정지 주변 은행나무의 위치와 정확히 일치하는 점, 셋째, 시흥행궁진입로의 특이한 형태가 1912년 지적원도와 1966년 항공사진에서도 정확히 확인되는 점이다. 그리고 시흥행궁의 역사적 가치를 재인식하고 지역경제를 활성화시킬 수 있는 방안을 마련해 보고자 2016년부터 진행되었던 정조대왕능행차 공동재현행사의 시흥행궁지역 운영 현황과 수원 화성행궁과 덴마크 호르센스 중세 축제의 지역 역사자원 활용 성공사례를 고찰하였다. 이를 참고하여 시흥행궁만의 차별화된 킬러콘텐츠를 개발, 학교연계 온·오프라인 교육지원 사업을 운영, 시흥행궁 복합 문화교육 체험시설을 건립, 시흥행궁 관련 자료들의 아카이브 구축 등의 네 가지 활용방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Siheung Hanggung(始興行宮) is a Temporary palace built for the parade in 1795. In the meantime, there have been many opinions about the estimated location of Siheung Hanggung because it is not known the exact location of Siheung Hanggung. I presume that Siheung Hanggung and Siheung-hyeon government office are the same place. While presenting the estimated site of Siheung Hanggung, which the existing researchers argued, by adding three additional evidences, it more clearly proved that the current Siheung-dong 827, 828, and 830 areas are Siheung Hanggung. The three grounds are as follows: First, in 1899 Gyeonggi-do Siheung-gun Papers(京畿道始興郡邑誌)’s Sajikdan(社稷壇) and Hyanggyo(鄕校) geomantic aspect coincide with the location in Siheung Hanggung of Siheung-hyeon map(始興縣地圖) in 1872. Second, the location of Siheung Hanggung, affiliated buildings and ginkgo trees in Siheung Returning Matrix Picture(始興還御行列圖) is exactly the same as the location of ginkgo trees around the estimated site of Siheung Hanggung seen through Skyview in 2020. Third, the unusual form of the entrance to Siheung Hanggung is confirmed exactly in the 1912 cadastral map and the 1966 aerial photographs. In addition, to re-recognize the historical value of Siheung Hanggung and to prepare a plan to revitalize the local economy, the present status of Siheung Hanggung area operation of the joint re-enactment event of the King Jeongjo’s parade, which was held since 2016, and the success cases of the utilization of local historical resources of Suwon Hwaseong Hanggung and the Horsense medieval festival in Denmark were examined. Based on this, it proposed four utilization plans such as development of differentiated killer contents of Siheung Hanggung, school-linked on-off line education support project, establishment of Siheung Hanggung complex cultural education experience facility, and establishment of archives of Siheung Hanggung related data.
