국문 초록

2007개정교육과정에서 사진교육이 등장하였다. 학교 현장에는 다소 혼란이 있었다. 교육 초기에는 이런저런 이유로 사진교육을 제대로 실행되기 어려웠지만, 최근에서 스마트폰이 보급되면서 사진교육에 진전이 있어 보인다. 하지만, 교육 여건이 개선되었다고 학생들에게 나은 사진교육을 제공할 수 있는 것은 아니다. 본 연구는 연구자가 부산의 작은 초등학교에 부임하여 만난 학생들과 좌충우돌하며 사진교육 실행 과정을 자문화기술지를 통해 진솔하게 드러내고자 한다. 학생들과 사진을 공부하고, 전시를 기획하는 과정에서 ‘사진과 나’, ‘어린이 사진가’, ‘포트폴리오’라는 세개의 유의미한 사진교육의 지향점을 얻을 수 있었다. 학생들은 제 생각과 위치를 파악하고, 현실에 당당히 맞서는 기회를 사진교육을 통해 경험하였다.

영문 초록

Photography education appeared in the revised 2007 curriculum. In the early days of education, photography education was not properly implemented for one reason or another, but progress in photography education seems to be made with the recent spread of smartphones. However, improved educational conditions do not provide better photography education for students. This study aims to express the results of the researcher s conduct of photography education in a straightforward manner with the students I met when I was appointed to a small elementary school in Busan through Autoethnography. In the process of studying photography with students and planning exhibitions, three meaningful photography education, Photography and Me, Child Photographer, and Portfolio, were obtained. Students experienced opportunities to grasp their thoughts and positions and face reality through photography education.
