인성교육을 위한 고등학교 미술과 교수학습 모형 개발 및 효과성

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 미술수업을 통한 인성학습을 위해 반두라의 관찰학습과 시각문화를 중심으로 교수학습 모형을 개발하고 현장 적용을 통해 그 효과성을 검증하는 것이다. 연구의 절차는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 모형 개발 단계에서는 문헌연구를 바탕으로 반두라의 관찰학습과 시각문화를 중심으로 모형의 구성요소를 설정하고, 교수학습 초기 모형을 개발한다. 둘째, 타당화 단계에서는 교수학습 모형에 대해 3회의 내적 타당도 검증과 사용성 평가를 시행한다. 셋째, 현장 적용 평가 단계에서는 경기도에 소재한 B고등학교 1학년 16명을 대상으로 개발된 교수학습 모형을 적용해 미술수업 6차시를 실행하고 학습자 반응과 교수자 반응을 통해 모형을 확정한다. 넷째, 교수학습 모형의 효과성을 검증하기 위해 한국교육개발원(KEDI)에서 개발한 인성 수준 검사도구(현주 외, 2014)를 활용하여 사전‧사후 검사를 실시하고, SPSS 통계 프로그램 22.0을 활용하여 두 종속표본 t-test 검증을 분석해 유의미성을 파악한 연구결과를 도출한다. 다섯째, 연구의 결론 단계는 확정된 교수학습 모형과 수업 결과를 토대로 논의, 결론 및 제언으로 마무리한다. 종합적으로 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인성교육을 위한 미술수업을 위한 주요 전략은 선택적 관찰 활동, 주도적 감상활동, 협동 탐구 활동, 심상 및 언어적 표현활동, 창의적 발상 및 표현활동, 표현과정에 대한 주체적 점검 및 수정 활동, 학습자 간 교류를 기반으로 한 전시 및 감상활동, 자기 및 동료평가 활동으로 설정하였으며, 학습 활동 과정은 인성요소 관찰-탐구-활용-확인 단계로 이루어져 있다. 둘째, 시각문화 인성 모델링 수업 모형(VCML)의 타당도를 확보하였고, 모형을 적용한 수업은 학습자의 인성 수준에 긍정적 영향을 미쳐 인성 행동에 대한 실천 의지가 형성되는 것을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

This study set out to develop a teaching and learning model based on Bandura s observational learning and visual culture, apply it to the field, and test its effects to provide character education through art classes. The study followed this procedure: first at the model development stage, the investigator set the components of a model and developed an initial teaching and learning model around Bandura s observational learning and visual culture based on literature study; secondly, the validation stage involved three internal validity tests and usability evaluations with the teaching and learning model; third, the field application and assessment stage saw the application of the developed teaching and learning model to 16 students of tenth graders at B High School in Gyeonggi Province throughout six times art classes to confirm the model based on reactions from learners and teachers; fourth, the effectiveness of the teaching and learning model was tested with the character level inventory(KEDI, 2014) developed by Korean Educational Development Institute in the pre- and post-test. The t-test results of the two dependent samples were analyzed with the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) Ver 22.0 statistical program to examine their significance and provide findings; and fifth, the conclusion stage offered discussions, conclusions, and recommendations based on the confirmed teaching and learning model and classes outcomes. The comprehensive findings were as follows: first, a bunch of major strategies were set for art classes for character including selective observation activities, leading appreciation activities, collaborative inquiry activities, imagery and linguistic expression activities, creative thinking and expression activities, independent check and revision activities for an expressive process, exhibition and appreciation activities based on exchanges among learners, and self- and peer-evaluation activities. The process of learning activities moved up the steps of observing, making an inquiry into, utilizing, and confirming character elements; and secondly, the visual culture-based character modeling leaning model(VCML) had its validity secured, and the classes applying the model had positive impacts on the character levels of learners, who formed will to practice their character acts.
