재직자 특별전형 내실화를 위한 재학생 및 교직원의 요구분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 재직자 특별전형 제도의 내실화를 위해 관련 교직원, 학생들의 요구를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2012년 재직자 특별전형을 도입하여 실시 중인 23개 대학(모집단)을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 총 97부의 교직원 설문지와 683부의 학생 설문지가 최종적으로 분석에 사용되었다. 요구분석을 위해 조대연(2009)이 제시한 3단계 절차가 적용되었다. 첫째, 대응표본 t검증을 통해 재직자 특별전형 내실화 방안들에 대한 현재 수준과 바람직한 미래수준의 차이(gap), 즉 요구(needs)가 통계적으로 유의한지 살펴보았다. 둘째, Borich의 요구도 공식을 사용하여 요구의 우선순위를 도출하였다. 셋째, the Locus for Focus 모델을 활용하여 최우선순위군(群)에 포함되는 방안들을 도출하였다. 분석 결과, 재직자 특별전형에 대한 홍보, 전형의 확대, 재정적 지원 및 인센티브, 교육과정 개발 및 탄력적 운영, 전공 선택의 다양화, 등록금 인하, 야간과 주말에 학교 서비스 개방, 학위 및 전공에 대한 사회적 인지도 향상 등이 최우선순위로 도출되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 재직자 특별전형과 관련한 정책 및 지원을 계획할 정부와 대학 그리고 기업에 실질적 도움이 될 것이다. 그리고 재직자 특별전형의 내실화를 위한 요구의 우선순위는 정책결정자들이 대학과 기업을 위한 지원정책을 수립, 집행할 때 유용한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to reinforce the policy on the special admission policy for specialized high school graduates through needs analysis of related staffs and students. To achieve this goal, a survey of 23 universities(population) which have been introduced and executed the special admission for specialized high school graduates of year 2012 was conducted and 97 questionnaires of staffs and 683 questionnaires of students were applied for final analysis. The ’three-step approach‘ proposed by Cho(2009) was applied for needs analysis. Firstly, the statistical significance of the gap(needs) between present level and desirable future level of the reinforcing methods for the policy on special admission was examined using paired t-test. Secondly, the priority was drew by Borich`s educational needs formula and thirdly, the methods comprised in the highest priority groups were found by utilizing the Locus for Focus Model. As a result, the highest priority groups include publicizing the policy on special admission, expanding admission process, offering financial support and incentives, developing and managing curriculum flexibly, diversifying major selection, reducing tuition fees, opening schools on weekends and at night, and improving the social awareness of degree and major. This study proposed 5 suggestions for reinforcing the policy on special admission for specialized high school graduates based on the result of needs analysis. Firstly, the government should try to enhance the policy. Secondly, publicity for the policy needs to be made by schools and the government. Thirdly, the government have to reduce the academic stress through financial support. Fourthly, the support from companies for their staffs studying at schools is needed urgently. Finally, it is necessary to expand information related to work-to-school.
