플립드러닝을 활용한 유아교과교육론 수업의 적용 효과 및 경험 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 플립드러닝을 활용한 유아교과교육론 수업이 예비유아교사의 교수기술과 자기주도적 학습능력에 미치는 효과와 그들의 수업 참여 경험을 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 연구 참여자는 J대학 유아교육과 2학년 학생 76명으로 2018학년도 8월부터 12월까지 플립드러닝을 활용한 유아교과교육론 수업에 참여하였다. 본 연구의 자료수집을 위해 교수기술과 자기주도적 학습능력 검사를 학기 전⋅후에 실시하였고 학습자의 반성적 저널을 수집하였으며 그룹 면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 플립드러닝을 활용한 유아교과교육론 수업을 통해 예비유아교사의 교수기술과 자기주도적 학습능력이 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 예비유아교사의 경험은 ‘주도적 학습자로 성장하는 발걸음’과 ‘전문성을 지닌 유아교사로 성장하기 위한 밑거름’으로 범주화되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 예비유아교사 양성과정에서 플립드러닝을 활용한 교수학습의 설계와 운영을 위한 제안점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects on subject matter education in early childhood education using flipped learning on the teaching skills and self-directed learning ability of pre-service early childhood teachers and their experiences in class participation. The subjects of this study were 76 sophomore students in the early childhood education at J University, and participated in the lessons of subject matter education using fliped learning from August to December of 2018. In order to collect data for this study, teaching skills and self-directed learning ability test were conducted before and after the semester. Also, learner’s reflective journals were collected and group interviews were conducted. The results showed that the teaching skills and self-directed learning ability of pre-service early childhood teachers were improved through the subject matter education using flipped learning. In addition, the experiences of pre-service early childhood teachers were categorized into ‘steps to grow as a leading learner’ and ‘base to grow as a professional early childhood teacher’. Through these results, we discussed the suggestions for the design and operation of teaching and learning using flipped learning in pre-service early childhood teacher training.
