국문 초록

본 연구는 아동권리협약의 기본권 중 유아들에게 가장 미진한 권리로 보고 된 참여권을 증진하고자 토의활동 중심 유아참여권 증진 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 분석하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 프로그램을 개발하기 위해 먼저, 유아 인권교육 관련 문헌 및 선행연구를 토대로 목적 및 목표를 추출하였으며, 교육내용은 국내⋅외 학자들이 공통적으로 참여권 관련 조항으로 선정한 것을 토대로 개발하였다. 유아인권교육과 토의활동 선행연구를 분석하여 교수-학습 단계를 개발하였으며 본 프로그램의 활동은 전문가의 추천활동 및 선행연구를 분석하고 교육내용 범주와 토의주제, 형태, 제시방법을 고려하여 16개 활동을 선정하였다. 유아교육 전문가와 현장전문가들에게 프로그램의 적합성과 내용타당도를 검증받았다. 이에 개발된 본 프로그램은 유아의 인권관련 태도와 또래 상호작용 증진에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 토의활동 중심 유아참여권 증진 프로그램이 유아의 참여권 증진을 위한 체계성과 현장 적용성을 갖춘 프로그램으로서 유아교육 현장에 적용 가능 하다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a discussion activity-based program to promote early childhood participation and to analyze its effects to promote the right of their participation, reported as the least among the basic rights of the Convention. To develop this program, we first extracted the purpose and objectives based on literatures and previous studies related to early childhood human rights education. With appropriate consideration to educational content categories, discussion topics, form and presentation methods, 16 activities of this program were selected based on the analysis of recommendations for activities by experts and previous studies. Content reliability and validity have been verified for each activities. The results of the program was found to have a positive effect on children’s human rights attitudes and peer interaction. These findings suggest that discussion-based infant participation promotion program can be applied to the field of early childhood education as a systematic and on-site applicale program for promoting infant participation rights.
