생태군집 개념 중심의 초등 개정 교육 과정 분석과 환경생태교육 프로그램 개발

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 생태소양의 기본이 되는 생태학적 개념과 원리로서의 생태군집이 가지는 환경생태교육적 의미를 탐색하여 생태군집의 원리를 활용한 초등 환경생태교육 프로그램을 구안하는 것이다. 우선 생태계 원리로서 생태군집이 가지는 의미를 통해 생태군집의 개념요소를 추출하고, 생태군집 조사 방법을 탐색하기 위해 문헌 연구를 수행하였다. 다음으로 2015 개정 초등 교육과정에서 환경생태교육과 관련된 지식 내용을 분석하고, 생태군집 개념 요소가 어떻게 다루어지고 있는지 살펴보았으며 마지막으로 생태군집 개념을 활용한 초등 환경생태교육 프로그램을 구안하였다. 5개 교과의 교육과정 해설서의 성취기준을 분석한 결과 대부분의 성취기준에서 다양성, 상호작용 개념이 확인되어 생태군집의 복잡한 정도를 나타내는 다양성과 생태적 지위에 의한 상호작용을 이해하는 데 무리가 없음을 확인하였다. 앞서 추출한 생태군집의 개념들로 프로그램화하기 위해 생태학 이론서를 바탕으로 핵심종, 지표종, 우점종, 공생, 경쟁, 천이, 방형구법, Tree Banding 등의 생태학 원리를 선정하여 내용을 구성하였으며, 프로그램의 방법으로는 이창석과 유영한의 생태학의 법칙에 기반한 생태조사 학습 과정을 활용하여 총 8개 주제로 24차시의 프로그램을 구안하였다. 이 연구는 지금까지의 생명존중, 환경보전의식 함양과 같이 정서적 특면의 접근이나 각 개체의 이름을 알고 서식처 보호의 당위성과 같이 개체중심의 환경생태교육에서 나아가 모든 생명체는 연결되어 있으며 서로에게 필요한 존재로 살며 공동체를 이루고 있는 군집 생태학 원리를 이해하여 생태적 위기의 해결에 적용하는 의미를 갖는다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the ecological concepts, principles of ecology and the ecological educational meanings of ecological communities and build up an elementary environmental ecology education program utilizing ecological communities concepts. The contents of knowledge related to environmental ecology education were analyzed in the elementary revision curriculum of 2015 and we developed an ecological education program for elementary school students. In order to confirm the learning potential of the concept of ecological communities, the curriculum of 10 subjects was analyzed. As a result, diversity and interaction concept were confirmed in most achievement standards. In order to make up programs the concepts of ecological communities extracted above, ecological principles such as keystone species, indicator species, dominant species, symbiosis, competition, succession, quadrats, and tree-bandings were selected based on ecological theories. To get out of approaching emotional aspects such as respect for life and consciousness of environmental conservation, knowing the name of each individual, and knowing the name of each individual, It is meaningful to understand the ecological principle which is living as community and apply it to the solution of ecological crisis.
