교육과정 변천에 따른 중학교 기술교과에 반영된 진로 관련 내용 분석

국문 초록

중등교육 시기의 진로의 탐색은 긴 인생에서 직업 가치관을 결정하는 화룡점정 의 기회라고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 우리나라 제 4차 교육과정부터 제 7차 교육과정까지 기술 교과서에 제시된 진로 관련 내용의 구성체제와 내용, 비중을 비교 분석하여 진로관련 교육과정의 변화 추이를 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통해 교육과정 변천을 통해 기술교과는 기능교과에서 소양교과로 변천해 왔고, 기술?가정 교과의 통합으로 기술교육내용은 축소되었지만, 직접 손으로 만드는 체험활동을 강조하면서 실험, 실습과 관련된 내용을 교과서 많은 비중을 두 고 싣고 있음을 연구를 통해서 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the career unit or related with career parts of middle school technology course in the past and present national curriculum. It is meant to investigate the structure and weight of career education in the technology textbooks of all the past and present national curriculum. The main findings of the study were as follows: First, the 7th national curriculum switched the technology?industry course to technology?home economics. One of major units dealt with industries and career, and three intermediate units were consisted of industries, career choice/work ethics and industrial disaster/safety respectively. The weight of career education became abruptly less in this curriculum. Second, the importance of the world of work and occupation became smaller as the industrialization era in the 1980s and the early part of 1990s was replaced with a knowledge-based on information age in the mid-1990s. And self-understanding and career planning have been emphasized in career education.
