국문 초록

외국의 교육 현황에 관하여 인식하는 것은 자국의 교육에 관하여 재인식 할 수 있는 기회와 학문적 시야의 확대라는 측면에서 요구된다. 이 연구는 일본 기술분야 교육의 학습지도요령 개정 배경 및 방향에 관하여 고찰함으로써 그 시사점을 얻고자 수행되었다. 이 연구는 일본의 학습지도요령과 학습지도요령의 개정에 관한 학회지, 출판물 등의 현지 자료를 중심으로 한 문헌 연구 방법으로 실시되었으며, 연구의 결과로부터 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현재 일본에서는 국가관리와 시장논리를 적용한 신자유주의적 교육정책으로 교육개혁을 진행하고 있음이 확인되었다. 둘째, 기술분야의 교육 목표, 내용 체계 및 그 제시 방법 등은 교육의 충실화 측면에서 개정 방향과 일치하여 긍정적으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 학습지도요령의 개정 전체에 있어서 기술 과목이 중요시 다루어지지 못한 점과 그로 인하여 남겨진 과제들이 확인되었다. 넷째, 기술 교육과 관련된 행정적 입지가 축소되고 있음이 밝혀졌다.

영문 초록

In order to expand the academical vision and to reassure one s country s present educational situation, it is necessary to have an awareness on other country s present educational condition. The purpose of the study was to review the revised new course of study on technology education in japan, and to identify areas of implications for technology education in korea. This study was conducted based on literature research with the japanese new course of study, journals and publication related to this area. The results are as follows : The first, education reform is carried out according to the logic of the market economy and the goverment-controlled in Japan. The second, educational objectives, structure of contents and way of presentation on technology education coincides with the direction of course of study s revision in the view of educational substantiality. The third, technology education was not placed in high order of importance during the process of course of study s revision. The fourth, it was confirmed that administrational status of technology education is reducing within MEXT(Ministry of Education, Curture, Sports, Science and Technology) of Japan.
