영유아 음악교육의 악기 지도법과 교사 선호도 조사

국문 초록

음악교육이 영유아 발달에 중요성을 가지는 이유는 이 시기에 청각기관이 가장 발달되었기 때문이며, 전인 교육을 바탕으로 통합예술로서 모든 발달 영역을 도모하는 특징을 가지고 있기 때문이다. 한국도 선진국과 같이 이 분야의 전문 교사가 점차 늘어나는 추세이지만 이들을 위한 교육연구가 부족하다. 2012년 200여명의 영유아 전문음악교사를 대상으로 한 사전조사에 의하면 교사들은 지도에 있어서 가장 어려운 점이 올바른 악기 및 지도법 선택이라고 답했다. 이에 본 연구는 영유아 발달에 의거한 악기의 중요성과 영유아들의 악기 연주 지도 방법을 제시하고, 2012년 현재 우리나라에서 영유아 음악교육에 활용할 수 있는 악기 종류를 조사 제시 하였다. 이 연구의 특징은 기존과는 다르게 영유아 음악교육의 악기를 리듬 악기, 음감 악기, 효과음 악기로 분류한 점이다. 현재 종사하고 있는 114명의 전문 교사들을 대상으로 악기 사용도를 조사한 결과 중 가설 영유아 음악지도 경력에 따른 악기 활용 경험과 영유아 음악지도 경험에 따른 악기 종류 선호도는 매년 새로운 악기의 시장 변화에 따라 악기 선택과 지도 방법도 변화가 있었으며, 가설 리듬악기, 음감악기, 효과음 악기의 선호는 영유아 발달과 관심도에 따른 지도 변화의 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

According to the global trend of music education at younger ages, the preference of music education for infants gets higher in Korea. The prior reason why music education is important for infant development is, the auditory organ is mostly developed in this period. Second, infant music education has a feature to instruct according to the development area by approaching as a complex art based on whole-person education. For this, Korea also is in the trend of gradual increase of teachers in this area like the other developed countries. According to the advanced research in 2012, around 200 professional infant music teachers answered that the most difficult point of instruction is the appropriate instrument selection and teaching method. Hereupon, the study proposes the importance of instruments and teaching method of playing instruments for infants, and researches the instrument kinds that could be applied to infant music education in Korea now, year 2012. Different from the general instrument categorization of string, wind instruments, and percussion, infant music education categorized them as rhythm, pitch, and sound effect instruments. Moreover, the survey was made to learn the preferences of these instruments to current 114 professional teachers, the meaningful differences were shown in hypothesis of first, instrument application experiences according to infant music instruction career, second, preference in instrument kinds followed by infant music instructional experiences, and third, preferences from rhythm, pitch and sound effect instruments.
