국문 초록

이 연구는 서울역사박물관 소장 보물 제1603호 대불정여래밀인수증요의제보살만행수능엄경(이하 능엄경)에 기입된 구결을 파악하여, 이 문헌에 기입된 구결이 기입 당시 언어 현상과의 관련성을 밝힐 수 있는 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있도록 하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 이 문헌에 기입된 구결 및 한글과 주석 등을 면밀하게 분석하였다. 이 문헌에 기입된 구결은 석독구결과 음독구결로 나눌 수 있다. 건(乾) 책과 곤(坤) 책으로 나누어진 이 문헌은 각각 구결 기입 양상이 다르게 나타났다. 또한 건(乾) 책에는 한글 및 주석 등의 다양한 묵서가 기입되어 있고, 기입된 묵서의 성격은 여말 선초 능엄경 문헌과의 관련성을 보여 준다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 하여 이 문헌에 기입된 구결 등의 기입 묵서가 한글 창제에 즈음한 시기의 국어 현상을 보여 줄 수 있는 자료로서 국어사적으로 어떠한 의의가 있는지를 밝혔다.

영문 초록

This article is intended to explain the kugyol(口訣) of “the Materials of Neungeomgyeong(楞嚴經) kept in Seoul Museum of History”(from now on we called this by Neungeomgyeong(楞嚴經) documents). This document has very many information about Korean linguistic history. Translation of Neungeomkyeong(楞嚴經, sutra) was the first work and important work of king Sejo(世祖). It was his the Korean own language and character(한글) translation. The ten volumes of the text were originally published in 1461 in a movable-type edition. Then one year after in a woodblock printing were published in 1462. Woodblock printing edition revised version of movable-type edition. Before this work. The king Sejo(世祖) was very interest in this work. And he had put much effort into this translation work. King Sejo(世祖) and prominent scholars and monks of the time examined various books such as Neungeomgyeong(楞嚴經) documents. And they reflected the results of studies and debates in the translation. Therefore, this book shows various perspectives on these translations. This Neungeomgyeong(楞嚴經) documents enables understanding of that work. In addition, This Neungeomgyeong(楞嚴經) documents has a great significance in showing the connection relation of the Joseon Dynasty era eonhae(諺解) as a result of the Koryo(高麗) Dynasty era Seokdok-kugyol(釋讀口訣) in the continuity of Korean linguistic history.
