부버(Martin Buber)의 관계철학의 관점에서 본 통일교육

국문 초록

이 연구는 마틴 부버(Martin Buber)의 관계지향적 실존주의 철학dl 통일교육에 주는 의미를 고찰하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 이 논문은 첫째, 부버의 관계론적 인간관으로서 관계론, 사이존재론을 살펴보고, 둘째, 관계의 두 유형으로서 나-너의 관계와 나-그것의 관계, 독백과 대화에 대한 논의에 기초한 평화 건설의 문제를 살펴보았다. 끝으로 이러한 부버의 철학이 통일교육에 주는 의미를 고찰하였다. 그 의미는 인간, 인간의 삶의 문제로서의 통일로 관점을 혁신적으로 전환해야 한다는 점, 나-그것의 관계가 아니라 나-너의 관계 지향의 통일교육이 되어야 한다는 점, 평화를 위해 귀머거리들의 대화(dialogue of the deaf)에서 진정한 대화(geinue dialogue)로 가야 한다는 점, 타자의 다름과 존중에 바탕한 적극적 화이부동 방식의 소통으로서 이중구동(異中求同) 형식의 대화를 추구해야 한다는 점을 제시하였다. 아울러 남북의 평화와 통일을 위해 민족공조가 나-너의 관계 중심의 소통이 이루어질 수 있는 반면, 국제공조는 나-그것의 관계가 절대적으로 작용하는 소통이라는 점을 통일교육에서 유념해야 함을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This paper aims to examine the implications of Martin Buber s relationship- oriented existentialist philosophy for unification education. To do this, firstly, this paper looks at the relationship theory and the theory of in-between existence as a relational human view of Buber. Secondly, this paper examines ‘I-You’ and ‘I-It’ as two types of relationship and peace building based on monologue and dialogue. Finally, this paper studies the meaning of Buber s philosophy for unification education and proposes several implications. First, we have to look at unification as a matter of human and human life. Second, unification education should be oriented toward ‘I-You relationship, not ‘I-It’ relationship. Third, we should have a true dialogue in the dialogue of the deaf for peace. Fourth, we should pursue Yìzhōngqiútóng(異中求同) dialogue as a positive Héérbùtóng(和而不同) based on the respect for the difference of others. Finally, it is suggested that for the sake of peace and unification between North and South Korea, bilateral cooperation should be achieved with I-You relationship-oriented communication, while international cooperation should be considered as being mainly driven by I-It relationship-oriented communication.
