국문 초록

본 연구는 플립러닝 기반 SW교육 방법이 단순한 문제해결 및 정보의 습득차원을 넘어 협업능력, 의사소통능력, 비판적 사고력, 창의성 증진 및 컴퓨팅 사고에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 효과성을 검증하였다. 또한 플립러닝 기반 SW교육 방법이 교수학습의 다양한 측면(수업만족도, 몰입, 소통, 활동중심수업, 동료학습 등)에 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지를 살펴보았다. 경기도와 인천의 두 개의 초등학교 6학년 학급을 대상으로 플립러닝기반의 SW교육을 실시한 학급과 전통적인 방식의 SW교육을 실시한 학급의 21세기 학습자 역량을 비교분석한 결과, 플립러닝기반의 SW교육을 실시한 학급의 학습자 역량이 전통적인 방법으로 SW교육을 실시한 학급의 학습자 역량보다 통계적으로 유의미하게 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고 학습자들에게 만족도 조사를 한 결과 플립러닝기반 SW교육을 통하여 학습자들은 SW학습에 흥미를 갖게 된 것으로 나타났다. 특히 자발적으로 문제를 해결하고 자신이 개발한 프로젝트를 공유하는 활동을 통해 몰입하게 되었다고 인식하였다. 그리고 모둠활동을 통해 학습에 대한 흥미와 학습에 대한 집중도가 높아진다고 인식하였으며 교육용 SNS를 통해 제공한 동영상 강의를 학습하면서 학습에 대한 이해도가 높아진다고 인식하였다. 또한 플립러닝기반 SW교육을 통하여 수동적인 학습자의 모습이 아닌 적극적이고 자발적인 학습자로 학습의 집중도와 몰입도가 높아진 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study validates the effectiveness of SW education based on flipped learning not only for simple problem solving and information acquisition but also for collaboration and communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, and computing thinking. It also examines how SW education based on flipped learning affect various aspects of teaching such as class satisfaction, immersion, communication, activity-orientedness, and peer learning. A comparative analysis of the 21st-century learner s ability of the students in two sixth-grade classes (a class that conducted SW education based on flipped learning and the other class that conducted traditional SW education) in Gyeonggi-do and Incheon revealed that the learner s ability of the class that conducted SW education based on flipped-learning was significantly higher than that of the other class. A survey of learners satisfaction showed that after the SW education based on flipped learning, the learners became interested in SW learning. In particular, many learners realized that they were immersed in the activities of voluntarily solving problems and sharing their projects. Through group activities, the interest in and the concentration of learning were increased. Students also recognized that understanding of the contents increased while watching video lectures provided through educational SNS. In addition, the SW education based on flipped learning increased, the focus and immersion of the learners, who participated as active and spontaneous learners.
