청소년의 사고특성이 휴대폰 중독에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년들(초·중·고·대학생)이 가지고 있는 사고특성을 조사하고, 청소년들의 휴대폰 중독 차이를 조사하는데 목적이 있다. 초·중·고·대학생들의 사고특성으로는 시간관, 행동정체성 척도에 의한 추상적 사고수준, 조절초점, 그리고 마인드세트를 제시하였다. 학생들의 집단을 초등학생, 중학생, 고등학생 그리고 대학생으로 구분하여 이들 집단별 휴대폰 중독의 차이에 사고특성 변수가 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 분석결과, 초등학생일수록 미래지향적 시간관을 가지고 추상적 사고를 하며 성장마인드세트가 높았던 반면 중학생, 고등학생이 되면서 현재쾌락적 시간관이 증가하고 개인이 가진 지능이 고정된다고 믿는 고착마인드세트가 높아짐이 확인되었다. 또한 휴대폰 중독과 관련해서 현재쾌락적 시간관, 낮은 추상적 사고수준, 고착 마인드세트가 휴대폰 중독에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate the thinking features of the elementary, middle, high school, and college students and their relationships with adolescent s mobile phone addiction. In terms of the thinking features of the elementary, middle, high school and college students, time perspectives, abstract thinking level, regulatory focus, and mindset were studied. We studied the influences of the thinking features on the adolescent s mobile phone addiction. As the result of the study, the elementary school students had a future time perspective, high level of abstract thinking, high level of growth mindset. On the contrary to this, the middle and high school students had a present-hedonistic time perspective, low level of abstract thinking, low level of growth mindset. The regression analysis showed that the variables of time perspectives, low level of abstract thinking, low level of growth mindset, were statistically significant to the mobile phone addiction.
