불완전 종단자료 결측치 처리 방법에 따른 다층성장모형의 모수 추정량 양호도 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 불완전 종단자료를 다층성장모형을 사용하여 분석하는 경우 결측치를 다층다중대체법(Multi-Level Multiple Imputation; MLMI) 3회, 5회, 10회와 최대우도추정법(Full Information Maximum Likelihood; FIML)으로 처리 한 후 모수추정량의 양호도를 비교하여 가장 안정적인 방법을 제안하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 MLMI 3, MLMI 5, MLMI 10과 FIML 방법에 따른 모수추정량의 양호도를 비교하였으며 모의실험 조건은 종단자료의 관찰횟수 3시점과 5시점, 결측유형 완전 임의결측_일반(Missing Completely At Random_General; MCAR_G), 완전임의결측_단조(Missing Completely At Random_Monotone; MCAR_M), 임의결측_단조(Missing At Random_Monotone; MAR_M), 표본크기 250, 500, 1000 그리고 2000과 결측비율 3시점 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% 그리고 50%(5시점은 60% 포함)로 설정하였으며, 각 조건별로 추정된 모수추정량의 양42호도를 평가하기 위하여 편향성은 모수추정량의 상대적 편의를 효율성은 평균제곱근 오차, 그리고 평균제곱근 오차 비를 준거로 삼았다. 관찰횟수, 결측유형, 표본크기, 결측률 전반을 고려했을 때 FIML 방법이 고정효과를 안정적으로 추정하였으며 MLMI 10 방법이 무선효과를 안정적으로 추정하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate the effect of full information maximum likelihood(FIML) method and multi-level multiple imputation methods(MLMI 3, MLMI 5 and MLMI 10) on the properties of the parameter estimator in the analysis of incomplete longitudinal data using multi-level growth model. This simulation study examined parameter recovery in multi-level growth model under a variety of manipulated conditions including: the number of repeated observations(3 times, 5 times), missing patterns(MCAR_G, MCAR_M and MAR_M), missing ratios(10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 60%) and sample sizes(250, 500, 1000 and 2000). This study employed five evaluation criteria for the performance of the four methods in handling missingness: relative bias, RMSE, and RMSE ratio. Considering all matters including the number of repeated observations, missing patterns, sample sizes, missing ratios, FIML stably estimated the fixed effects, while MLMI 10 stably estimated random effects.
