입학전형, 성별에 따른 대학 재학생의 진로·학업·시민역량 및 생활적응 차이 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 수시와 정시에 대한 비율 조정에 대한 논란이 되고 있는 현재의 시점을 기반으로 경기교육종단연구 고등학생패널 진로진학조사항목 1~4차 년도 데이터를 사용, 분석하여 대학 재학생의 입학전형, 성별로 인한 학생들의 진로역량, 시민역량, 학업역량, 대학생활 적응 등의 차이를 분석하여 수시와 정시 전형 비율 조정논란에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하는 목적에서 실시했다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학 재학생의 입학전형이 진로역량, 학업역량, 대학생활 적응 등의 차이를 분석한 결과, 진로역량항목 중 전공 선택이유는 모두 ‘적성’이 가장 높았다. 학업역량 항목 중 고교 수업의 대학 진학 도움 정도는 수시가 정시보다 높게 나타났다. 대학생활 적응 중 대학 만족도는 교수진, 커리큘럼, 장학금 및 복지혜택, 학교시설의 모든 항목에서 수시가 정시보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 대학 재학생의 성별이 시민역량 및 학업역량, 대학생활 적응 등의 차이를 분석한 결과, 시민역량의 좋은 시민요건은 모든 항목에서 여자가 남자보다 높았다. 반면에 학업역량 항목 중 대학수업 활동은 수업시간 질문, 그룹과제 적극 참여에서 남자가 여자보다 높았다. 특이하게도 대학 수업 태만 항목도 과제물 표절 및 대필, 시험 부정행위에서 남자가 여자보다 높게 나타났다. 대학생활 적응과 생활수준 변화에 대한 기대는 남자가 여자보다 높게 나타나는 특징을 보였다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the difference between admission selection of university students, gender, career capacity, civic competence, academic ability, and adaptation to college life using data from the first to fourth year survey items. The results of the study are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the difference of admission selection of college students to career capacity, academic capacity, and adaptation to college life, ‘competence’ was the most common reason for choosing major in career competency item. Among the academic capacity items, the degree of helping high school students to go to college was higher than usual at any time. The university satisfaction of college life adaptation was higher than usual at all times in faculty, curriculum, scholarship and welfare benefits, and school facilities. Second, as a result of analyzing the difference of gender of university student, the difference of civic capacity, academic capacity, adaptation to college life, the citizen s good citizen requirement was higher than male in all items. On the other hand, among the academic capacity items, male college class activities were higher than female students in class time questions and active participation in group tasks. Unusually, the neglect of college classes was also higher than that of female students in plagiarism and spellings of homework and cheating. Expectations for changes in living standards during university adjustment showed that men were higher than women.
