진로인식프로그램이 초등학생의 진로자기효능감과 학습동기에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 인간의 진로발달 면에서 “진로인식 단계”에 해당하는 초등학생을 대상으로 진로인식 프로그램을 적용하여 진로자기효능감과 학습동기에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 경기도 용인시 처인구에 소재한 G초등학교 6학년 56명의 아동들로 28명은 실험집단에, 28명은 통제집단으로 배치되었다. 본 연구의 실험처치 기간은 5주(총 10회기)이다. 진로자기효능감 검사도구로는 박명심과 김성희(2006)가 개발한 진로자기효능감 척도를 사용하였고, 학습동기 검사도구는 서승하(2004)의 학습동기 검사지를 사용하였다. 실험처치 3일 전과 후에 사전검사 및 사후검사를 실시하였고, SPSS 18.0로 프로그램의 효과성 검증을 위한 통계처리 및 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 진로인식프로그램에 참여한 실험집단은 통제집단보다 진로자기효능감이 유의하게 향상되었다. 둘째, 진로인식 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단은 통제집단보다 학습동기가 유의하게 향상되었다. 또 초등학교 수준에서 자신에 대한 이해를 확장하고, 다양한 진로체험 활동을 통한 호기심과 자신감을 신장하는 학습동기 향상에도 도움을 주기 때문에 앞으로 체계적이고 다양한 진로인식 프로그램이 개발, 보급되어 학교현장에서 활발하게 활용되는 것이 요구된다는 것을 보여주었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점과 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

A purpose of this study is to identify what effects the career awareness program applied to elementary school students corresponding to “career awareness” has on self-efficacy of career and learning motivation. The subjects of this study consisted of 56 children in the 6th grade at G elementary school in Cheoin-gu, Yongin city, Gyeonggi-do. 28 children of them were placed in experiment group and rest of 28 children were placed control group. A period of experimental process was 5 weeks and the number of session in program process is 10 times totally. Career self-efficacy inventory developed by Park, Myeong Sim and Kim, Sung Hee(2006) are used for testing hypotheses. And for the test tool of learning motivation, referred to strategies questionnaire for learning motivation (Pintrich & DeGroot,1990) and underwent verification by Seo, Sung Ha(2004). Pre-test was conducted before 3days of experiment process, pro-test was conducted after 3days the program ended. The collected data to verify the effects of program applied to experiment group was statistically analyzed by SPSS 18.0 program. As the result, the findings of this study indicated the following. First, career-self efficacy sense in experimenting group which attended career awareness program is meaningfully improved compared with control group which didn t attended career awareness program. Second, learning motivation in experimenting group which attended career awareness program is meaningfully improved compared with control group which didn t attended career awareness program. Finally, several limitations and suggestions were discussed.
