청소년이 지각한 인간관계 및 심리적 변인과 학교생활 적응의 구조적 관계

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 학교생활 적응에 관련되는 인간관계와 심리적 변인들의 구조적 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 연구대상은 한국청소년정책연구원에서 수행한 2010한국아동․청소년패널조사자료 가운데 초기 청소년에 해당하는 중학교 1학년 남녀학생 2,351명이다. 측정도구는 인간관계를 측정하기 위해 부모의 양육태도 검사와 또래애착 검사가, 심리적 변인을 측정하기 위해 자기존중감 검사와 자아탄력성 검사가 사용되었다. 자료분석은 LISREL 8.54에 의한 경로분석이 이루어졌고, 분석결과 다음과 같은 사실이 밝혀졌다. 첫째, 인간관계 및 심리적 변인(자아존중감, 자아탄력성)은 9개의 경로를 통해 청소년의 학교생활 적응에 직·간접적인 영향을 주고 있으며, 관련변인들의 학교생활 적응 전체 변량에 대한 설명력은 56%로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년이 지각한 또래애착 및 부모의 양육태도는 그들의 학교생활 적응에 직접적인 영향을 줄 뿐만 아니라 자아존중감과 자아탄력성을 통해서 간접적인 영향도 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자아존중감과 자아탄력성은 청소년의 인간관계와 학교생활 적응간의 관계에서 부분적인 매개역할을 하면서 학교생활 적응에 직접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학교생활 적응에 대한 관련변인들의 상대적 영향력(전체 효과)은 또래애착(β=.47), 자아탄력성(β=.42), 양육태도(β=.30), 자기존중감(β=.23) 순으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship between perceived interpersonal and psychological variables and school adjustment behaviors in early adolescents. Data harvested from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2010 was analyzed by means of Structural Equation Modeling(SEM). The results indicate that the model is appropriate in terms of goodness of fit and significant path based the validation procedure. The results of the study were as follows: First, two exogenous(peer attachment, parenting attitude) and two endogenous (self-esteem, ego-resilience) variables had direct and indirect influences on the early adolescents school adjustment behaviors via nine pathways, and their predictive power for the total variance of school adjustment was 56%. Also, their self-esteem and ego-resilience had a partial mediation effect on the relationship between interpersonal relations and school adjustment. Second, the most contributive variables to the school adjustment behavior were peer attachment(β=.47) and ego-resilience(β=.42). The next contributive variables to that were parenting attitude(β=.30) and self-esteem(β=.23). The findings of the study will provide a basic framework for the structural understanding of early adolescents successful school adjustment, and for the development of the intervention strategies to help them well adjust to school life.
