‘모두를 위한’ 다문화 미술교육 프로그램 개발 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 다양한 문화가 존재하는 현대 사회에서 다른 문화의 이해와 존중이 필수적인 일이 되어감에 따라 상대적인 태도를 가지고 다양성과 차이를 인정하는 것이 우리가 해결해야 할 문제라는 점을 인지하며 시작되었다. 특히 우리나라 교육에서 지향하고 있는 ‘모두를 위한 교 육’에 초점을 다문화적 관점에 근거하여 프로그램을 개발하여 적용한 사례를 분석하였다. 유 네스코에서 정의한 ‘모두를 위한 교육’은 우리나라 교육과정에서 중시하는 창의·인성교육과 관련시켜 구체적인 구성 요소를 추출하고, 부천에 있는 중학생을 대상으로 ‘모두를 위한’ 다문 화 미술교육 프로그램을 적용한 결과, 그에 따른 교육적 효과와 활성화 방안을 마련하였다. ‘모두를 위한'이란 타인에 대한 배려와 나눔처럼 인성적인 측면이 강하기 때문에 프로그램을 구성함에 있어서는 미술적인 본질을 충분히 살릴 수 있는 프로그램을 구안하였으며, 개발한 프로그램 적용 결과 다양한 문화적 특성을 이해하고 배려심 함양되었으며, 자율성, 독립성, 공동체 의식을 통하여 책임감이 증진되고, 복합적인 정체성에 대하여 핵심적인 이해하고 평 화를 기반으로 한 갈등이 해소하는 등 미술 교과 교육의 효용성을 인지 등의 교육적 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 한편, 이러한 ‘모두를 위한’ 다문화 미술프로그램의 적용 및 수업을 활성화를 위해서는, 나 눔과 배려 또는 소통을 위한 인식이 개선되어야 하며, 다문화적인 요소나 인성적 요소 등 다 양한 측면에서 콜라보레이션 미술 활동이 확대되어야 하고, 다른 문화에 대한 존중 의식을 함양할 수 있는 내용들이 적극적으로 반영되는 미술 프로그램이 개발되어야 할 것이다. 다만 여기서 논제로 정한 다문화는 다국적인 문화를 이해하고, 서로의 문화에 대한 존중과 존엄성을 알게 하는 것이 목적이기 때문에 다문화 가정의 학생이나 다문화에 대한 왜곡된 이 해는 탈피시키는 데도 의의를 둔 연구이다.

영문 초록

In the modern society where various cultures exist due to the rapid progress of globalization, as understanding and respect of other cultures became essential, this study started from the recognition of diversity and difference with relative attitudes to solve pending problems. At present, our country is rapidly progressing multi-cultural understanding education but because the in-depth of multi-culture in a realistic viewpoint stays at early stage, it performs only a one-sided support policy and education of an assimilative standpoint. Accordingly, our multi-cultural understanding education is required to reconceptualize the education objects, scope and contents in a wider context to establish the scope of other cultures. Based on the understanding of the actual condition and necessity for the Korean multi-cultural understanding education, this study established the philosophy and direction of the multi-cultural understanding education appropriate to Korean society as ‘Education for All’ and as a method to achieve this, the inclusive educational approach was attempted. Therefore, the study called the contents of multi-cultural understanding education ‘Education for All.’ From the creativity and character education as well as ‘Education for All’ of UNESCO, it extracted components for inclusive education and as inclusive education, developed an art education program ‘for All’ and applied the developed program to the 1st grader of the middle school to prepare for educational effects and revitalization methods. First of all, this study investigated and analyzed the current situations of the art education performance ‘for All’ as the definition of inclusive education and domestic and overseas inclusive education and reconceptualized the multi-cultural understanding education and found the grounds for educational research and development ‘for All’ as inclusive education and extract the components of inclusive education and accordingly,
