국문 초록

시작과 끝을 알 수 없는 미궁의 세계 안에서 인간은 타자와 함께 존재하되 각자가 일군 하나의 의미체 안에 살고 있다. 일상 가운데 붙박혀 있는 것들에 대한 ‘알아차림’ 그리고 긴 인내를 감내하며 이루어야 할 ‘의미의 세계’가 인간의 삶에는 존재한다. 유한자로서 인간은, 인간성의 실현을 주체적으로 도모해 나가며 근원성을 포착하고 의미를 부여하며 미궁의 세계를 들추어 왔다. 암묵적으로 자리한 세계가 갖는 미묘한 변화와 그 의미에 대한 주관적 포착, 그리고 의미의 부여는 곧 자기 존재의 확인이며 존재 방식을 드러내는 것이며 또한 존재적 변화를 가능하게 한다. 긴 세월을 거쳐 쌓아 올린 인간의 흔적들은 자기 존재적 표현이라 할 수 있다. 알타미라(Altamira) 동굴 벽화에서 보여지는 인간의 생동적 믿음, 시점을 흔들고 있는 폴 세잔(Paul C?zanne)의 사과, 자신의 존재를 탈각하듯 ‘그리고(draw) 양(mass)을 더하는 것’으로부터 ‘지우고 덜어내기’를 되풀이하는 알베르토 자코메티(Alberto Giacometti)의 공허한 인물에서도, 그 행함은 흔적으로 남아 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the educational significance of materials experience in the process of artistic creation from the perspective of an educational advancement. The artists' perceptual activities shown in the creation process of art works transcend the technical difficulties of dealing with sense and materials. The process of the materials experience that searches material properties and materializes possibilities and limitations of expressions is the process of learning the knowing. Time and space of the materials experience based on the subjectively immersion is the time and space for refining the aesthetic perception and physical knowledge. The refinement of perception and physical knowledge has circularity to renew our perceptual system and physical world, and to reaffirm the structure of cognitive experience. This study examines the lives inherent in artists who educationally evolution focusing on the aspects that have constantly formed and changed the experimental structure through the materials experience in artistic creation.
